Driving on the road
Norway does not require a vignette.
AutoPASS ANPR plus an optional tag. A tag with a valid agreement often gives a further 20% discount (rate group 1). Foreign plates should register fuel/Euro at autopass.no/ed or they may be billed the highest environmental rate.
EV / zero-emission discount is 30–100% by project — not one national percentage, and not free everywhere. Oslo 2026 (Fjellinjen): EV 21 / 26 NOK off-peak / rush versus petrol 38 / 47 NOK (~55% of the petrol rate).
Foreign cars should register an AutoPASS visitor account or use the official apps so cameras can bill the plate.
Green Card required for foreign and UA-registered cars. Dipped beam is expected; winter conditions are serious.
Ferries on coastal routes are extra tickets, not a vignette.
