Driving on the road
The Netherlands does not require a vignette. Motorways are free for cars.
Amsterdam and other cities have environmental zones (milieuzones) that restrict older diesel and petrol cars.
Electric vehicles are fully exempt from these city LEZ restrictions.
Green Card required for foreign and UA-registered cars.
City parking permits are separate from road tolls. HGVs use a different scheme.
