Driving on the road
Greece has no vignette. Motorways are paid at barrier plazas by section — Attiki Odos, Olympia Odos, Aegean Motorway, Egnatia stretches, plus the Rio–Antirrio bridge (Gefyra) as an extra. Not a time-based pass.
Pay on the spot by card or cash. Keep the ticket until the exit plaza.
Typical 2026 car (Cat. 2) plaza fares: Attiki about €2.50–2.80; Olympia Odos €2.10–3.80; Aegean Motorway about €2.60–4.70; Egnatia about €0.65–3.35; Rio–Antirrio (Gefyra) car €15.90. Confirm on the operator page the day you travel. No general EV cut.
Green Card required for foreign and UA-registered cars.
No general EV motorway discount — categories are height/axles, not fuel. Pay the standard vehicle class.
Ordinary national roads are generally free.
