Zeekr is entering Poland. It will bring in as many as six models with power ranging from 270 to nearly 900 horsepower.

In short:
Zeekr is set to make a strong entry into our market
The Geely Group manufacturer will offer Polish customers six models
Ranging from the compact electric SUV X to the over five-meter long, nearly 900-horsepower plug-in hybrid 9X
Deliveries to our country are expected to begin this year
In its five years of existence, the brand has delivered 850,000 vehicles to customers
Zeekr – a bold debut
This will not be a cautious debut with just one or two cars. Zeekr announces that it will already have six models upon entering Poland: 001, X, 7X, 8X, 9X, and 7GT. AutoWallis and the Portuguese Salvador Caetano Group will handle distribution together. The partners aim to establish a local sales and after-sales service network ahead of the planned launch in the last quarter of 2026.
Zeekr is a young brand – it was established in 2021 but belongs to Geely Auto Group. So it isn’t starting from scratch. It relies on the technological resources of the Chinese conglomerate, with some of the vehicle design and development taking place in Gothenburg. Since deliveries began in October 2021, Zeekr has delivered over 850,000 vehicles to customers.
Zeekr X will be the smallest
The entry model in the lineup will be the Zeekr X, a compact electric crossover with a length of 4432 mm and a wheelbase of 2750 mm. The vehicle uses Geely’s SEA platform and will be available in several variants.
The base Core RWD version has a 49 kWh battery, rear-wheel drive, and 272 horsepower. The Long Range RWD comes with a 61 kWh battery, 340 horsepower, and a WLTP range of up to 405 km, while the Privilege AWD features two engines, 496 horsepower, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. This version’s range reaches up to 415 km. The maximum DC charging power varies by variant, reaching up to 230 kW.
The X will compete in the increasingly crowded segment of compact premium electric vehicles. In terms of size and characteristics, its main rivals will be the Volvo EX30 as well as the larger BMW iX1.
The Zeekr 001 is nearly five meters long with a range of 620 km
The Zeekr 001 is significantly larger. It is a shooting brake measuring 4955 mm, combining elements of a large sedan, liftback, and crossover. The wheelbase is nearly 3 meters long, and the trunk holds 539 liters. This model was one of the first Zeekr vehicles offered in Western Europe.
The European version features a battery with a capacity of 100 kWh. The Long Range RWD version delivers 272 horsepower and can travel up to 620 km according to WLTP standards. The Performance AWD and Privilege AWD versions have two engines, all-wheel drive, and 544 horsepower. They can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. The maximum DC charging power is 200 kW, and it takes about 30 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% capacity.
Due to its unusual design, it’s difficult to identify a single direct competitor for this vehicle. Customers can compare it to the Audi A6 e-tron Avant and Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo, as well as to larger electric fastbacks.
7X Targets the Most Important Segment of Electric SUVs
One of the key models in Poland could be the Zeekr 7X. It has a length of 4787 mm, a wheelbase of 2900 mm, and a classic five-door SUV body style. This format is similar to the vehicles that currently account for a large portion of sales in the premium electric vehicle market.
The base 7X Core RWD model comes with a 75 kWh battery, 421 horsepower, and a range of up to 480 km. The Long Range RWD model retains 421 horsepower but features a 100 kWh battery, allowing it to reach a range of up to 615 km. At the top of the lineup is the Privilege AWD version: it has two engines, 646 horsepower, 710 Nm of torque, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.

The charging capability is set to be a strong point. The car uses an 800 V system, with Zeekr planning to work with chargers capable of up to 480 kW. The version with a 75 kWh battery should take about 13 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%, while the 100 kWh versions will take around 16 minutes. The manufacturer also claims it’s possible to recharge enough energy for a range of about 300 km in just 10 minutes.
The 7X will compete directly with models such as the Audi Q6 e-tron, BMW iX3, Xpeng G9, and Tesla Model Y. This is likely where Zeekr will face one of its most important battles in the Polish market.
7GT is a more sporty take on an electric family car
The 7GT is lower and more driver-oriented than the 7X. It measures 4817 mm in length and only 1456 mm in height, with a design reminiscent of a large sports sedan. The model was designed and tuned for European roads.
The batteries available are 75 and 100 kWh. The rear-wheel-drive versions deliver 421 horsepower. The model with the larger battery achieves up to 655 km of WLTP range. The flagship 7GT AWD has 646 horsepower, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, and has a range of 558 km.
Like the 7X, it uses an 800 V architecture and can accept up to 480 kW of power. The 75 kWh battery allows charging from 10% to 80% in 13 minutes, while the 100 kWh battery takes 16 minutes. The car features a 456-liter trunk plus an additional front compartment with a capacity of up to 65 liters.
In this case, there are fewer competitors. Models with similar characteristics include the Audi A6 e-tron Avant, Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo, and BMW i5 Touring. Therefore, Zeekr aims to fill the niche between traditional electric sedans and grand tourismo vehicles.
The Zeekr 8X will be a completely different car
The biggest surprise in Poland’s announcement is the 8X. So far, Zeekr’s European lineup has focused mainly on electric vehicles, but this model is a powerful plug-in hybrid.
The 8X is 5.1 meters long with a wheelbase of over 3.06 meters, yet it offers five seating positions. It is built on the SEA-S architecture with a 900 V power system. In China, batteries available range from 55 to 70 kWh — values higher than those of many full electric vehicles sold a few years ago.

The standard configuration pairs a 2.0 turbo gasoline engine with two electric motors. The system’s power output is around 897 horsepower, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3.7 seconds. The most powerful version uses three electric motors, delivering 1030 kW, or approximately 1400 horsepower. Geely claims a 0 to 100 km/h time of 2.96 seconds for this version.
However, it’s important to note that detailed Polish or even European specifications for the 8X have not yet been released. The figures above refer to the versions available in China. A Polish announcement confirms that the 8X will be part of the lineup from the start of sales.
In terms of size and positioning, its natural competitors will be the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid, the BMW X5 in plug-in hybrid form, and the Mercedes GLE with a similar powertrain.
9X: six seats, 897 horsepower, and a massive battery
The Zeekr 9X is even larger. The vehicle measures 5239 mm in length, 2029 mm in width, and has a wheelbase of 3169 mm. It features six seats arranged in a 2+2+2 layout inside.
It is also a plug-in hybrid. The European Ultra AWD version combines a 2.0 turbocharged gasoline engine with two electric motors. The system’s power output is 897 horsepower, and it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. The battery has a capacity of 55 kWh, while the electrical architecture operates at 900 V.

The manufacturer claims an electric range of 179 km for this configuration and a total range of 737 km. In other European variants under development, these figures are expected to reach 223 km and 767 km respectively. Particularly unusual for a plug-in hybrid is the possibility of very fast charging – achieving 10 to 80% charge in the best configuration should take only about 9.5 minutes.
The 9X is aimed at the segment of large luxury SUVs. In terms of size, it competes with the BMW X7 and Mercedes GLS, while in terms of electrified powertrain, it is closer to the Range Rover PHEV or Volvo XC90 T8. The main difference lies in its massive battery and charging capabilities typical of fully electric vehicles.
Zeekr enters a much more competitive market than it was a few years ago
The introduction of six models at once gives Zeekr something that many Chinese brands entering Poland lack – it aims to offer products across several different segments from day one. At the same time, competition is much greater today. Not only Tesla and European premium brands but also BYD, Xpeng, and other Chinese manufacturers are competing for electric car customers.
However, Zeekr does not try to compete solely as yet another electric SUV. Its range is broad and includes not only electric vehicles but also plug-in hybrids. Yet success in this “mission” depends not only on technology but also on building brand recognition, as well as a sales and service network. We are also waiting to see the prices.
