Zeekr is entering Poland. Five models will be available at launch, including a SUV with nearly 900 horsepower.

The number of Chinese brands in the Polish market is increasing at a rapid pace, but Zeekr aims to enter at a higher tier than most new players. The brand belongs to Geely Group, the same conglomerate that includes Volvo, Polestar, and Lotus. Zeekr positions itself as a premium car manufacturer and intends to launch its operations in Poland under that banner.

The introduction of Zeekr will be handled jointly by the Hungarian AutoWallis group and the Portuguese Salvador Caetano Group. The official launch is scheduled for late 2026. Grzegorz Sokalski has been appointed as Zeekr’s general manager in Poland. He previously worked at Hyundai Motor Poland for nearly eight years and then at Grupa Krotoski, where he developed the MG and BYD sales networks. He also has experience working on projects for Porsche and FOTON Polska. He is a graduate of Warsaw University of Technology and SGH.

The company is currently finalizing contracts with dealers, building a Polish team, and preparing financing options as well as after-sales support. Virtually the entire European lineup is set to arrive in Poland soon.

Zeekr X will be the smallest model

The entry point into the brand’s world will be the Zeekr X, a compact SUV measuring about 4.43 meters in length. This model is technically related to vehicles such as the Volvo EX30 and Smart #1 — all of which use Geely’s SEA architecture.

The X is positioned as a more luxury-oriented vehicle. Depending on the version, it may have rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The most powerful variant delivers 500 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds.

In the current European lineup, the range of the best versions exceeds 400 km WLTP. Zeekr also places a strong emphasis on equipment – advanced driver assistance systems, a large central screen, high-quality materials, and comprehensive features are intended to set the X apart from the company’s cheaper electric vehicles. This model is likely to be the most popular. However, much will depend on the price, which remains unknown for now.

Zeekr 001 is an electric grand tourer

The 001 is a large shooting brake, nearly 5 meters long, acting as something between a low SUV and a four-door grand tourismo. The rear-wheel-drive version can achieve up to 620 km of WLTP range. More powerful AWD variants generate 544 horsepower and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.

The 001 is also the model that essentially marked the beginning of Zeekr as a separate brand. Among other electric SUVs, it could turn out to be one of the most interesting cars in Poland’s lineup, as it combines ample space with a silhouette significantly lower than that of typical crossovers. The trunk holds 539 liters, and an axle distance of nearly 3 meters suggests plenty of space in the second row.

Zeekr 7X targets premium family SUVs

The Zeekr 7X is a mid-size electric SUV that will compete in one of the most competitive market segments. It is this model that Zeekr has significantly refreshed for 2026. The latest European version uses an 800 V architecture, and the base Core RWD variant features a 75 kWh LFP battery along with an engine that produces 3455 horsepower. The preliminary WLTP range is up to 482 km.

The Long Range RWD also offers 455 horsepower, but it comes with a larger 100 kWh NMC battery. The range increases to around 627 km WLTP in this case. At the top of the lineup is the Privilege AWD model with two engines. The system power amounts to 500 kW, or approximately 680 horsepower, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.7 seconds.

Zeekr aims to stand out heavily with the fast charging speed of this model. The maximum DC charging power reaches 450 kW in the latest version, while for the model with a smaller battery, the manufacturer estimates around 10.5 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% under optimal conditions.

The 7GT can travel 655 km and is designed more for the driver

The second new model this year is the Zeekr 7GT. The name accurately reflects the car’s character – it’s a large electric grand tourer measuring 4.82 meters in length, resembling a combination of a liftback, station wagon, and shooting brake. The base RWD version uses a 75 kWh battery and delivers 421 horsepower. With a larger 100 kWh battery, the range increases to 655 km according to WLTP standards.

The most powerful 7GT AWD model delivers 646 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds. An 800 V electrical system is also used here. The charging power can reach 480 kW, and Zeekr claims that under ideal conditions, 10 minutes of charging will provide enough energy to cover approximately 340 km. The 7GT is designed to be more driver-focused than the brand’s other models. Zeekr highlights changes to the steering system, suspension, and brakes, with the top-tier version featuring active pneumatic suspension.

Zeekr 9X shows the brand will not be limited to electric vehicles only

Zeekr started as a purely electric brand, but the 9X, a SUV over 5.2 meters long, is a plug-in hybrid... and definitely not the kind whose main goal is to set records for low fuel consumption. The European 9X Ultra AWD combines a 2.0 turbo gasoline engine with two electric motors. The entire system delivers 897 horsepower and 935 Nm of torque. Despite a weight of around 2.9 tons, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.

A large battery with a capacity of 55 kWh allows the car to travel up to 179 kilometers without engaging the internal combustion engine, while the total range reaches 737 kilometers. In other configurations, Zeekr promises even over 200 kilometers of electric driving range.

The 900 V architecture is also unusual for a plug-in hybrid. The battery can be charged with direct current at up to 330 kW, and the manufacturer claims a charge from 10% to 80% in about 9.5 minutes. The 9X features six seats in a 2+2+2 layout, a pneumatic suspension, and will serve as the brand’s flagship model. In Germany, the Ultra version costs from 119,500 euros (around 522,000 zł), giving an idea of its pricing position, although the price list in Poland is not yet available.

The first showrooms will be located in the largest cities

Zeekr does not intend to establish a highly dense sales network right away. In its first year of operation, the brand aims to focus primarily on the most important Polish urban areas and collaborate with existing large dealer groups. The list of cities and partners has not been officially released yet. According to the Polish branch, contracts with selected investors are currently being finalized.

The network is planned to be expanded gradually thereafter. The manufacturer also states that it does not want to create a situation where several dealers of the same brand in one region start competing mainly on price. For buyers, however, it will be more important whether a sufficiently dense service network is established quickly alongside the dealerships. This is especially true since Zeekr intends to enter Poland with five cars that are technically very different from each other.

Currently, two of the most important pieces of information from the perspective of Polish customers are missing: an exact price list and the addresses of the first stores. Both details should be available before the official launch of sales scheduled for the end of the year.
