Zeekr 7X Facelift: Stronger engines and up to 450 kW charging capacity in the 2027 model year

The Zeekr 7X is one of the less well-known premium alternatives to the Audi Q6 e-tron, BMW iX3, and Mercedes GLC. It features 800-volt technology for very fast charging, electrically operated doors, and numerous amenities. Now, the model comes with more powerful engines and even faster charging speeds. However, the 7X will also be slightly more expensive.
As before, the Zeekr 7X is available as a rear-wheel-drive version with a small battery, a rear-wheel-drive version with a large battery, and an all-wheel-drive version with a large battery. The rear-wheel-drive versions now offer 335 instead of 310 kW, while the all-wheel-drive version provides 500 instead of 480 kW. Accordingly, the acceleration time for the rear-wheel-drive version improves from 6.0 to 5.6 seconds, and further to 5.5 seconds, while the all-wheel-drive version sees a reduction from 3.8 to 3.7 seconds. Torque levels also increase. The battery capacities remain unchanged at 75 kWh for the LFP battery and 100 kWh gross for the NMC battery, so the WLTP range stays roughly the same.

Charging can be done using up to 22 kW of AC power or up to 450 kW for the smaller battery and up to 420 kW for the larger battery. This is less than previously reported, as 480 kW was cited earlier. However, the charging time to reach 10 to 80 percent capacity has been reduced: previously, Zeekr only provided times for the 360-kW charger (13 or 16 minutes). Now, the brand also gives figures for the maximum charging power, namely 10.5 or 15.0 minutes.

The bumpers were also modified. The front of the car now features large air intakes on both the left and right sides. At the back, the black area at the bottom is now separated by a horizontal line instead of having a vertical split in the middle. The flush door handles remain unchanged.

The interior has also changed slightly. The center console now features a new design, appearing straighter with less curvature. Additionally, multiplayer video games from the AirConsole platform will be available in the future, allowing users to use their smartphones as game consoles.
Another new feature is a driver assistance system developed by Bosch, equipped with seven cameras and three radars. This enables remote parking as well. Compared to its launch in the German market in December 2025, the price of the Zeekr 7X has increased by 2,000 euros in each version.

More on the Zeekr 7X and other mid-range SUVs:
In summary
The Zeekr 7X received a facelift and more powerful engines for the new model year. There has been no press release regarding this yet. However, the changes are relatively minor. Apparently, nothing has changed with the batteries, only the specifications have been updated. While previously only charging times at a 360-kW charger were listed, Zeekr now also provides times for charging at up to 450 kW. The model was already among the fastest-charging electric cars; now it climbs a few ranks higher, surpassing even the Porsche Cayenne Electric (4.7 kWh/min) and the Xpeng G6 (4.6 kWh/min).
