Xpeng delivered the first Mona L03 in France. The European price is 35,600 euros.

Xpeng delivered the first Mona L03 to a customer in France on October 13, 2026, marking the start of deliveries of this model in Europe. The keys were handed over personally by the company’s president, He Xiaopeng, during an event in Paris. The car costs around 35,600 euros in Europe.

The manufacturer announced the delivery on October 20. The first French customer is said to have chosen the L03 due to its driver assistance systems, but Xpeng has not revealed either the car version or the ADAS features available in this market. This is a significant gap, as the equipment in Chinese models sold in Europe often differs from what is offered in the country of production.

From launch in Munich to the first customer

The Mona L03 made its debut on July 16, 2026, in Munich. It was the first Xpeng global model shown simultaneously in China and Europe. The company announced sales in 64 foreign markets at that time, so France marks the beginning of a much larger expansion.

The differences between the Chinese and European offerings are clear. In China, the L03 is available as a fully electric vehicle as well as an EREV model, which uses a combustion engine as an energy generator. The base price there is 123,800 yuan. For Europe, only the BEV version has been introduced so far, with an announced starting price of 35,600 euros.

After delivering the car, He Xiaopeng met with French dealers. Xpeng cited a statement from the head of one of the dealer groups, who expressed positive views on the company’s and the model’s prospects. However, no specific number of orders was disclosed. At this stage, we have our first customer and plenty of optimism, but there is still no data to assess actual interest.

The L03 is also heading to Australia and New Zealand

France isn’t the only new market. As early as October 11, Xpeng announced the launch of the L03 in Australia and New Zealand, where it joins the G6 and X9 models. The company aims to use the cheaper Mona to enter a more mass-market segment, rather than limiting its international offerings to pricier vehicles.

The L03 is also set to be Xpeng’s first export model equipped with the Google Maps Auto SDK. It will provide maps, real-time traffic updates, and route planning directly within the car’s system.

We are now awaiting order figures and the full European specifications. Without them, it’s difficult to determine whether a price of 35,600 euros will be enough for the Mona L03 to go beyond a mere symbolic key handover in Paris.
