Xpeng L03 – a large urban crossover

The Xpeng L03 will be the cheapest model from this Chinese brand in Poland, competing in price with much smaller electric cars. The base RWD Standard Range version is priced at exactly 154,900 zł gross.

Importantly, this is not a small urban crossover. The L03 measures 4650 mm in length, 1920 mm in width, and 1600 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2850 mm. It features a sloping roofline and frameless doors, with an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.228.

The most interesting part is the middle section of the price list. Exactly 167,900 zł covers two versions that are very different technologically: the electric RWD Long Range and the PowerX RWD Long Range with a gasoline generator.

The electric Xpeng L03 can travel up to 520 km

The base RWD Standard Range uses an LFP battery with a capacity of 58.3 kWh. The engine at the rear axle delivers 245 HP, and the range is up to 445 km WLTP. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds. The maximum DC charging power is 193 kW.

The RWD Long Range version might be interesting. It costs 167,900 zł and comes with a larger LFP battery having a capacity of 71.2 kWh. The engine still produces 245 HP, but the range increases to 520 km WLTP.

The RWD Long Range model reaches 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and can use DC charging up to 236 kW. Charging from 10% to 80% should take about 20 minutes.

The RWD Long Range Ultra version has the same powertrain and battery but comes with more advanced features. It costs 189,900 zł, with a range of 480 km.

At the top is the AWD Performance Ultra priced at 206,900 zł. Two engines combined deliver 388 HP and 431 Nm of torque, with power distributed to all wheels. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, has a WLTP range of up to 440 km, and its 71.2 kWh battery can be charged at up to 236 kW.

The EREV version costs exactly the same as the Long Range model

The biggest new addition to Xpeng’s European lineup is the L03 PowerX RWD Long Range. It is a series hybrid EREV vehicle. The wheels are always driven by an electric motor with 245 HP of power. The 1.5-liter gasoline engine has no mechanical connection to the wheels — it operates as a generator to produce energy for the electrical system.

The LFP battery has a capacity of 37.25 kWh, allowing up to 215 km of range on electricity alone according to WLTP standards. The fuel tank holds 42 liters, and the claimed total range is 1017 km.

The EREV model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 180 km/h. The battery can also be charged normally from an external source — the maximum DC charging power is 123 kW, and it takes about 20 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% capacity.

What about the price? It’s exactly 167,900 zł, the same as that of the fully electric RWD Long Range model.

The customer must choose between a model with a 71.2 kWh battery offering 520 km of range and an EREV version with a smaller battery, 215 km of electric range, plus a gasoline generator that allows for a total driving distance of over 1000 km.

Xpeng did not provide a comprehensive list of additional features

The white paint is included free of charge. A metallic paint costs an additional 4600 zł. The tow hook costs 4300 zł. The L03 can pull a trailer with brakes weighing up to 1500 kg.

For the AWD Performance Ultra, an additional Black Edition package is available for 5,900 zł. This means the top variant with this package is priced at 212,800 zł, and after adding the hook, the price rises to 217,100 zł.

15.6 inches and Google Maps

In the cabin, a 15.6-inch screen takes center stage. There is also a transparent W-HUD display, ambient lighting, along with 37 storage compartments and pockets for small items.

The vehicle is controlled by the XOS 6 system. Xpeng promises OTA updates as well as an artificial intelligence-powered voice assistant.

The L03 is also the first model from the brand to use Google Maps Auto SDK. It’s not about simply displaying Google Maps from a smartphone. Google’s data and technologies are set to be integrated into Xpeng’s native navigation system and will also be available for driver assistance features. Xpeng plans to gradually introduce its more advanced NGP system in Europe starting from 2027.

First cars in Poland already in October

The L03 made its debut in July in Munich and was announced simultaneously for 65 markets. It is the most globally distributed model in Xpeng’s history to date.

The first units are expected to arrive in Poland in October 2026, with regular sales scheduled for December.

Rivals are plentiful

The L03 enters a highly competitive segment. In terms of price, the base version is close to the Skoda Elroq, while larger and more expensive variants start competing with the Tesla Model Y, BYD Sealion 7, or Leapmotor C10.

Xpeng’s advantage lies in its combination of a large body size, comprehensive equipment, fast charging, and a low starting price. Another highlight is the EREV version, as most of its direct competitors are available only as pure electric cars.
