Higher tier comparison and Tesla Superchargers. Summer promotions from operators are ending

In short:

The periodic EV charging price ranking by Klub Polska and elektromobilni.pl has “leapt” to a higher, digital level

Users now have a tool that allows them to analyze average AC, DC, and HPC charging prices and track their changes over nearly two years

It also enables quick comparisons between different providers

A new feature is the separate, interactive ranking for Tesla Supercharger networks

Providers are ending their summer promotions. Not all of them!

The ranking in a new format

Until now, the Charging Price Ranking primarily displayed current rates from Poland’s largest charging infrastructure providers, along with key promotions and price changes. Starting in September, this data is available digitally on the elektromobilni.pl portal — in a format that users can browse, filter, and compare on their own.

The new version allows users to check not only how much charging costs at various operators, but also what the average price is at AC stations (currently 1.99 PLN/kWh), at DC stations up to 150 kW (2.55 PLN/kWh), and at the most powerful HPC stations (2.70 PLN/kWh), as well as how these values have changed over time.

– Until now, in our ranking we’ve shown current rates and the most significant price changes, but as the project evolved, we decided to provide much more information about the market. In the new version of our tool, we can compare charging rates over an almost two-year period. We’ve also added the ability to compare operators on a single chart and see how their periodic actions have influenced market trends. For users, this means greater transparency and easier decision-making about where and at what cost to charge an electric vehicle – said Łukasz Lewandowski, president of EV Klub Polska.

The ranking thus no longer answers solely the question “where can I charge my car cheapest?” It also allows us to assess which operators maintain competitive prices over the long term — something that can only be seen through historical data. The range of rates itself illustrates this well: for the same fast HPC charging, drivers now pay between 1.80 and almost 3.60 PLN/kWh, so having access to the full price history truly translates into savings.

Tesla Supercharger with its own ranking

Another new feature is a separate, interactive ranking dedicated to the Tesla Supercharger network. Users can check how prices have changed at various Supercharger locations in Poland and compare different sites in one place. Currently, the rates listed range from 0.9 to 3.10 PLN/kWh, depending on factors such as location, time of day, and user type (Tesla owner/non-Tesla owner).

The ranking allows filtering data by peak and off-peak rates, user type, and station capacity. Prices can be analyzed separately for Tesla owners and subscription holders, as well as for drivers of other electric vehicles using the network without a subscription. It is also possible to distinguish between V2 Superchargers up to 150 kW and V3/V4 Superchargers up to 250 kW.

In September, Tesla implemented significant changes to pricing at many Polish Supercharger locations. The most noticeable changes are in the rates applied during peak hours. Out of 19 locations, peak rates increased in 14, decreased in three, and remained unchanged in two. The largest increases were seen in Gdańsk and at the Supercharger station on Highway A4 in Poznań — both saw a rise of 0.60 zł/kWh, from 2.30 to 2.90 zł/kWh. Rates in Wrocław increased by 0.50 zł/kWh, from 2.40 to 2.90 zł/kWh, and at Chopin Airport in Warsaw, they rose by 0.50 zł/kWh, from 2.60 to 3.10 zł/kWh. Meanwhile, prices dropped at some locations — in Jasionka from 2.40 to 2.00 zł/kWh, and in Lublin from 2.40 to 2.20 zł/kWh. Off-peak rate changes were generally more moderate, further illustrating how dynamic and location/day-dependent Tesla Supercharger’s pricing model is.

“Tesla’s pricing policy for Superchargers is much more dynamic than traditional pricing based on station type. The price can depend on location, time of day, or the subscription purchased. That’s why we created a separate ranking for Tesla Supercharger networks. Now users can enter a specific location to see how peak and off-peak prices have changed there, compare them with other stations, and check the differences between Tesla users and those using other electric vehicles. Instead of a single rate, we get a complete picture of how Tesla Supercharger pricing works in Poland,” said Maciej Gis, director of communications and PR at PSNM and editor-in-chief of elektromobilni.pl.

In addition, both rankings come with a PDF generator — anyone interested can download the summary in a single, easy-to-read A4 page format.

The ranking stays, more data to come

The traditional monthly publication of the Charging Price Ranking remains unchanged. It will continue to include up-to-date rate lists, charts, key promotions, and an analysis of market changes. However, the digital version adds historical data and the ability to compare kilowatt-hour rates independently. As a result, the Charging Price Ranking evolves from a monthly report into a tool that allows tracking of price trends and individual providers’ policies over time.

September brings further changes to the pricing

The end of summer promotions also applies to DC fast charging. Enefit raised the standard rate for DC charging below 150 kW from 2.16 to 2.39 zł/kWh (a rate of 2.02 zł/kWh previously applied in selected locations). ORLEN Charge also made a significant change — returning to the standard pricing, the DC charging rate increased from 2.19 to 2.69 zł/kWh; the same rate currently applies to HPC charging. Standing out against the ending promotions is Budimex mobility, which extended its preferential rates until September 30 — the standard rate there for both DC and HPC charging is currently 1.80 zł/kWh.

– The summer period was a time of intense promotional activity among energy providers. ORLEN Charge, Budimex mobility, Enefit, and MOYA energia competed for drivers with discounts and special offers. By September, some of these promotions had ended, and standard rates reappeared in the pricing tables. However, not all providers have given up on discounts—Budimex mobility is a good example, as it maintained its summer promotion until the end of September. This shows that price is increasingly becoming one of the tools in competition among providers, and for drivers, keeping track of current offers can mean significant savings—said Adrian Nocuń, CEO of Elocity, the main partner of the Charging Price Ranking.
