VW ID. Tiguan: 4,000 euros discount, 5,000 euros even for the Style version

It was already known that there was an "ID. Purchase Bonus" available for the VW ID. Tiguan as well, with a corresponding note appearing in the configurator from the start. However, the exact amount was unknown. But now the model appears on the list of purchase bonuses.

According to this, the base versions Trend and Life come with a discount of 4,000 euros, while the top-tier Style model gets a discount of 5,000 euros. This means the base model with 140 kW and a range of 455 km is available starting at 38,695 euros, and the most powerful version, the ID. Tiguan Life with 210 kW and a range of 604 km, costs 47,350 euros. All final prices can be found below in our table, which lists the key list prices, discounts, and final prices for all VW electric vehicles.

By the end of June, there were discounts of 4,000 or 5,000 euros depending on the model. The amounts changed significantly in the third quarter, but the discounts remain quite high. This applies to the latest models such as the ID. Polo, ID. Cross, ID.3 Neo, and now also the ID. Tiguan. The price discounts range from 1,500 to 6,000 euros depending on the variant.

There are still no discounts for the base version of the ID. Polo, the Trend model at 24,995 euros, or the ID. Cross Trend at 27,995 euros. In contrast, the compact models ID.3 Neo Trend and ID. Tiguan Trend receive discounts of 3,000 and 4,000 euros respectively. There is no bonus for VW Commercial Vehicles' electric models, such as the ID. Buzz and the electric van. Other offers are available for these vehicles.

The discounts appear to be changing. For example, the discount on the ID. Polo Life dropped from 2,000 to 1,500 euros since July 2026. The base price also changed: with the 85-kW version now available as a Style variant, it fell from 29,195 to 27,995 euros. The ID. Polo Style now has a 500 euro lower price, although the listed price remained the same. For the ID. Cross, a 99-kW version was added, causing the base price to drop as well, while the discounts stayed constant. Nothing has changed for the other models. There is also a discount on the ID. Polo GTI, but the amount is not yet known.

More on discounts:

In summary

VW’s cheapest electric car is the ID. Polo Trend, priced at just under 25,000 euros; no discount is available for this model or its counterpart, the ID. Cross. Discounts are offered on all other electric vehicles. The extent of the discount depends on the model series and version, with more expensive models receiving larger discounts. The percentage discounts range from about five to ten percent. It’s not world-class, but it’s still considerable.
