The Volvo EX60 is at the SAHE and promises up to 810 km of range.

Volvo’s electric SUV is one of the biggest highlights to be unveiled at SAHE 2026 in Porto. Learn all the details.

The Volvo EX60 is one of the star attractions at the Hybrid and Electric Automobile Show (SAHE), which takes place at Alfândega do Porto until October 18.

More than just adding a new model to its lineup, Volvo has placed the responsibility on the EX60 to build upon the commercial success of the XC60, one of its most important and best-selling models in recent history.

Up to 810 km of range

Developed on Volvo’s new SPA3 platform, the EX60 is over 4.8 meters long with a wheelbase of three meters.

It is, however, in technology that the new Swedish SUV seeks to distinguish itself. The range consists of three powertrains, designated by the brand as P6, P10, and P12 AWD. The first features an electric motor in the rear axle and 275 kW (374 hp), while the others use two electric motors—one per axle—to achieve combined total powers of 375 kW (510 hp) and 500 kW (680 hp), respectively.

Although it is a family SUV, its performance levels are close to those of sports models. The EX60 P12 AWD can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. As is typical of Volvo, however, the top speed is limited to 180 km/h.

Discussing range is equally important, even though we are dealing with a fully electric vehicle. In this regard, the Swedish SUV comes equipped with batteries of 83 kWh, 95 kWh, and 117 kWh, offering ranges of up to 620 km, 660 km, and 810 km between charges respectively.

The 800 V architecture also allows for DC charging at powers of up to 350 kW, which under ideal conditions means just 16 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%, or 19 minutes for the version with the longest range.
