Volvo Cars will take over exclusive distribution of Lynk & Co in Europe starting January 2027. This move follows the establishment of the previously announced commercial partnership between Volvo Cars and Geely Auto. Lynk & Co will leverage Volvo Cars’ established distribution structure as well as its dealer and service network. Both brands are part of the Chinese Geely Group.

The new distribution model is intended to enable Lynk & Co to reach more customers, strengthen its market presence, and improve access to products and services. Europe remains a strategically important market for Lynk & Co, according to a statement. The agreement is also meant to further enhance the customer experience in the region and support the next phase of growth.

Lynk & Co is set to remain an independent brand with its own identity, products, and customer experience. The partnership is based on a clear differentiation of the brands and complementary positioning, according to the statement.

"This partnership combines Volvo Cars' established distribution infrastructure with Lynk & Co's distinctive brand and product lineup," says Mo Wang, CEO of Lynk & Co International. "Our focus will be on ensuring close strategic alignment between Europe and our global organization, preserving the independence of the Lynk & Co brand, and working closely with Volvo Cars to transform this partnership into sustainable, long-term growth."

The responsibility for Lynk & Co’s global product development and certification, as well as its operations outside Europe, remains with Geely Auto Group. Lynk & Co and Volvo Cars are already working together in Europe and are represented jointly at selected locations. The new agreement aims to create further growth opportunities by enabling Lynk & Co to reach new customer segments and expand its presence in key European markets.

Lynk & Co operates in 25 European markets according to its own statements and has more than 140 sales locations run by partners. The expansion of this network has been supported by collaborations with Volvo Cars dealers. Founded in 2016, Lynk & Co is headquartered in Gothenburg and offers a portfolio of electrified vehicles. In this region, these include the partially electric SUV models 08 and 01, as well as the all-electric SUV crossover 02.
