For the third installment of our series “An Electric Trip for Every Season” in collaboration with the specialist agency Electric-Trips, we are in the Dolomiti del Brenta region of Trentino. The aim of this initiative is to suggest a week-long vacation along an ideal route that allows one to enjoy all the advantages of an electric car, without worries and in complete safety. Intermodal travel is the future: arrival by train + rental EV – 178 km total
The adventure begins in Trento. Tip for the eco-conscious traveler? Arrive comfortably by train to reduce travel impact, then rent an electric vehicle dedicated to the tour.
This is the best way to experience the city, with its unique blend of Italian and Austrian influences, before heading into the wild nature.
In harmony with the rhythm of the earth
What better way to get to know a region than by experiencing it firsthand? Organic apple terroir or artisanal coffee from unique micro-roasters are just a few examples. Before heading uphill, choose the culinary experience that best reflects your interests.
We decided to stop in Mezzolombardo (20 km away) for an extraordinary visit. We made a pit stop at the Foradori family (an international leader in biodynamics), who will show you their vineyards along with their winery.
Here, it’s not just about tasting exceptional wines, but also learning how agriculture can work in harmony with nature’s cycles. An approach that electric vehicle drivers know well: efficiency, respect, and a sustainable future.
Now, forget the routine. This itinerary is an ode to renewal, designed for those who want to discover Trentino’s true soul.
Destination: San Lorenzo Dorsino, 40 km from Trento.
Our base will be San Lorenzo Dorsino, one of Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages. Far from touristy spots, where the precious element is the community. There, you’ll meet woodcraftsmen, felt makers, and resilient farmers who love their land.
From here, you enter the wild heart of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park. Guided by local Alpine guides, you can rejuvenate in the silence of the forests or admire the power of water at the Rio Bianco Nature Area in Stenico, where the energy of the mountains is displayed in full force.
Electric adrenaline: Enduro takes center stage
For all our readers seeking an experience different from the usual E-bike rides, we have included a unique option: an enduro E-motorcycle tour. Two hours of off-road riding to experience the instant torque and lightness of electric motorcycles. It’s the purest way to experience mud and dust on the trails without disturbing wildlife or emitting pollutants. An experience that will stay etched in the heart (and pulse) of anyone who loves two wheels.
Where to recharge your spirit (and battery) along the way
The itinerary doesn’t stop at the peaks. The road leading to Lake Garda is lined with charming villages such as Rango and Canale di Tenno. Each season brings its own energy, with every turn offering a view worth stopping for.
In summer, dive into the turquoise waters of Lake Tenno; in autumn, dance in traditional costumes at medieval festivals; and in winter, enjoy the warm embrace of lights and magic with Christmas markets among stone and wooden houses.
Before returning the car and catching the train, the tour includes a final cultural stop in Trento: Le Gallerie. Two former road tunnels transformed into multimedia exhibition spaces. It’s the perfect symbol of our journey: infrastructure that transforms itself to host stories and culture.
