Andreu Lacondeguy is probably the most well-known ‘gravity’ rider in our country. He is a regular in freeride competitions, and recently he has been competing in one of the ‘craziest’ events around, Red Bull Rampage.
The Catalan rider suffered an accident not long ago in which he broke his femur while riding motocross, another of Andreu’s passions, a discipline he also participates in: it’s clear he loves two wheels....

But moreover, a new development has occurred: after racing for several brands, including Commençal, his last “home,” Andreu has returned to Mondraker, a brand he used in the past. Another development is that two new versions of the popular Zendit electric bike, which we covered in this report, have recently been released.

So the setup was perfect: Andreu would ride the new Zendit R and S models to create a stunning promotional video. And the location couldn’t have been better: La Palma island, with its prehistoric cypress forests, endless pine forests, and volcanoes whose slopes are covered in ash.
Andreu’s partner in the video is fellow racer (and mechanic) Carlos Langelaan, who is by no means inferior to a legend like Lacondeguy, at least judging from the striking visuals of the video.

Zendit R (7,499 euros) and S (6,499 euros): aluminum plays a big role here
The difference between the new Mondraker Zendit R and S models is that the rear triangle is made of aluminum, replacing the carbon version found in the more expensive models. And based on the review, performance is not compromised at all. This model features a mullet design with long suspension travel: 170 mm in the front and 165 mm in the back.

For example, the specialized Zero System Suspension remains intact, ensuring flawless performance. Like in the rest of the Zendit range, the power unit is exactly the same: it’s an Avinox M2S engine (1,300 W and 150 Nm) that is truly remarkable. The battery is also the high-capacity, non-removable Avinox battery at 800 Wh. For more information: Mondraker Zendit
