Toyota offers an “E-Bonus” for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids of up to 8100 euros

Toyota offers a guaranteed “E-Bonus” for all models with plug-in capabilities. This applies to fully electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids from the Japanese brand. The bonus can be used for leasing, financing, or cash payment.

For the listed base versions, the guaranteed amounts range from 4200 to 7600 euros depending on the model. As the trim level increases, the E-Bonus rises as well, with up to 8100 euros possible depending on the model and specifications.

In addition, the German government’s electric vehicle purchase subsidy can be claimed. Up to 6000 euros is available for fully battery electric models, and up to 4500 euros for plug‑in hybrid vehicles. All fully electric cars as well as all Toyota plug‑in hybrid cars qualify for this subsidy.

The federal subsidy and its amount depend on individual criteria, particularly the applicant’s household income and the number of children in the household. If the subsidy requirements are met, the government assistance can be combined with Toyota’s E-Bonus.
