I’m thinking about buying a used Tesla Model 3 and I’ve been looking around. I heard that electric cars lose value faster, and honestly I expected the prices to be a bit lower. For example, on Tesla Italia’s website, I find 2021 Long Range models with 90,000 to 100,000 kilometers on the odometer priced at over 27,000 euros. The estimated range is around 490 kilometers. Prices don’t change much on specialized sites like Autoscout 24 either. I don’t quite understand how these cars lose value, since (as you write) new cars keep improving rapidly, especially in terms of range.
