Tesla FSD Supervised has received approval in the Czech Republic. Poland remains off the list.
Tesla announced that on September 21, 2026, the Czech Republic approved FSD Supervised. This makes it the seventh country in Europe to do so, following the Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark, Belgium, and Slovenia.
For Tesla drivers in the region, this is another sign that the manufacturer is gradually unlocking the system in smaller EU markets. For Poland, however, the news is less favorable as there is still no decision or timeline announced.
Czech approval raises the total to seven countries
According to Tesla’s statement, the rollout in the Czech Republic is set to begin “soon,” meaning in the near future, though no specific date was given. It’s important to note that regulatory approval does not always mean every compatible vehicle will receive the feature on the same day.

A pattern emerges. Tesla started with the Netherlands, then added a few smaller EU countries, and now it’s moving closer to Poland. Geographically, we’re next to each other. Formally, we’re still in the same place.
FSD Supervised is not driverless autonomy
The name sounds ambitious, but it needs to be taken literally. FSD Supervised is not driverless driving. The driver remains responsible for the car, must monitor the system, and be ready to take control.
This is important because Tesla’s marketing has been ahead of European regulations for years. Simply agreeing to FSD Supervised doesn’t mean robotaxis or Level 4 autonomy yet. It’s more of an expanded driver assistance package, slightly better than traditional Autopilot, but still far from fully driverless driving.
From the user’s perspective, two things are most important. First, whether the system will actually work beyond highways. Second, on which versions of hardware and software Tesla will make it available. Here, the company can leave itself a lot of room for maneuver.
Poland Still Without a Decision
As of now, there are no updates from Polish authorities regarding the approval of FSD Supervised. There is also no official rollout date for our market.
This starts to look a bit like a race among neighbors, where the Czech Republic and Slovenia have already taken off, while Poland hasn’t even reached the starting line. For Tesla owners, this can be frustrating, especially if the car is ready in terms of hardware but the delay remains purely regulatory.
If this trend continues, pressure on other countries in the region will increase. The question is whether Poland will join by 2026, or if Tesla will once again announce plans faster than authorities can approve them. What do you think?
