Stellantis announces its plans for the Paris Motor Show, including the unveiling of several prototypes

Stellantis will attend the Paris Motor Show, held from October 12 to 18, with a massive 5,340 square meter booth (the largest at the event) where over sixty vehicles will be displayed. Additionally, the company has confirmed it will showcase nine concept cars in total, illustrating the company’s direction for the coming years.

FIAT will debut the Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback to the public, two key models part of the Italian firm’s growth strategy. Lancia will exhibit the Gamma, while Alfa Romeo will bring its entire lineup (Junior, Tonale, Giulia, Stelvio, and 33 Stradale), along with a unit of the classic Spider “Duetto,” which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.

Opel will unveil the final design of the Formula E GSE 27FE monopost, as well as the Corsa GSE. Additionally, the lightning-inspired brand will display an unprecedented prototype. “I can promise all visitors to Opel’s stand in Paris a comprehensive look at our latest products, our commitment to Formula E, and a glimpse of our vision for the future. Our newest prototype will once again highlight the distinctive features that will appear in Opel’s upcoming models. I’m very eager to introduce it to the international audience,” says Opel CEO Florian Huettl.

The Chinese manufacturer Leapmotor, of which Stellantis is a shareholder, will also be present. The Paris event will serve as the stage for the European debut of the B03, an electric utility vehicle in the B segment, as well as the D19, a large SUV set to become the flagship model of the Asian company. The B03 is expected to be produced later at Stellantis’ plant in Villaverde (Madrid).

Following the Citroën 2CV and FIAT Panda, Stellantis will also develop electric cars priced at 15,000 euros for Opel and Peugeot

But undoubtedly, the focus will be primarily on the three French brands within the conglomerate, which will be competing at home. DS Automobiles will be present with its latest offering, the Nº7, while Peugeot will showcase the new E-208 GTi, the 9X8 Hypercar racing model, as well as advancements like the Hypersquare steering wheel and the Polygon Concept, which previews the next generation of the 208.

Like the other brands in Stellantis’ portfolio, Citroën will display its current range, but it will also unveil “a surprise inspired by the most iconic model in its history.” It is no secret that the Paris Motor Show has been chosen as the stage for the debut of the new 2CV, which will be presented in prototype form before going into production in 2028.

The new Citroën 2CV already has a launch date, and it’s just around the corner

"Electric. Essential. Affordable. Human. Just as the original democratized mobility back then, the new 2CV will once again delight a new generation with electric mobility through an extremely desirable model. The return of the 2CV is not simply the return of a legendary name. It’s the return of an ambitious and optimistic vision for progress. A vision deeply rooted in Citroën," said Xavier Chardon, CEO of Citroën, a few months ago.
