The Škoda Epiq 40 is available for order starting at 27,900 euros, with the 25,900-euro model following in October.

With the Epiq 40, Škoda expands its range of electric urban SUVs. This new model is available for order starting at 27,900 euros and comes in the Essence and Selection trims. It features a power battery with a gross capacity of 38.5 kWh paired with an electric motor that delivers 99 kW (135 hp).
The Epiq 40’s battery uses lithium-iron-phosphate chemistry (LFP). The electric motor achieves a maximum torque of 267 Nm, and the top speed is limited to 160 km/h. The range is up to 310 kilometers according to WLTP standards, with a charging time of 23 minutes to reach 80 percent charge from 10 percent.
The Epiq Essence 40 costs starting at 27,900 euros and comes standard with features such as LED headlamps, climate control, and a 13-inch infotainment display. It also includes assistance systems like front radar assistant, lane keeping assistant, lane change and parking assistant with exit warning, as well as intersection assistant. Additionally, it features a Bluetooth hands-free device and Škoda Care Connect.
The Epiq Selection 40 starts at 31,400 euros and adds the Technik and Comfort packages along with the Design Selection Loft Gray in Black and Gray to the Essence’s equipment. The Technik package includes features such as a phone box with inductive charging, front and rear parking sensors, a reverse camera, KESSY, and two-way charging. The Comfort package features a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, a 2-zone climate control system, as well as dark-tinted rear and rear side windows; it also includes 18-inch Plover black alloy wheels.
The Epiq 40 also offers additional equipment options for the previously available Epiq 55. A heat pump is available for all versions, while selection models can additionally be ordered with electrically adjustable front seats. For the Epiq Selection 40, Epiq Selection 55, and Epiq First Edition, the Premium package is available for 890 euros and includes a 25-liter “frunk” area in the front for storage, a 360-degree surround camera, a Canton sound system with ten speakers, and an intelligent parking assistant.
The Epiq 55, with 155 kW (211 HP), is available in the Essence and Selection variants as well as in a First Edition version. Additionally, Škoda announced in October that orders for the Epiq 35 will begin in Germany, with an starting price of 25,900 euros.
