Enel discounts for drivers, electric and otherwise

Enel discounts for drivers, electric and otherwise

Enel discounts for drivers, electric and non-electric: in a time of soaring prices, a series of initiatives are being introduced to reduce charging and fueling costs.

Enel Discounts (“And electric cars are already affordable”)

The premise is that “international geopolitical tensions are putting pressure on fuel prices. Meanwhile, the electricity sector proves to be much more stable.” Enel announces it is taking action to assist consumers in this context: “New discounts are available on public charging and the purchase of Waybox units (home charging stations). There is also direct support for diesel and gasoline costs: those who have not yet switched to electricity can receive a 40 euro fuel voucher.” The company explains that this new offer covers private mobility as a whole, addressing both electric vehicle owners and those still using internal combustion engines. According to Enel’s calculations, electricity reduces fuel costs by half. “To travel 100 km, you spend about 7.8€ on electricity (down to 6.3€ if charging at home), compared to 15.5€ for gasoline and 12.9€ for”

“diesel”.

Until 11/11, discounts of up to 20% on public charging

For a distance of 500 km, the savings can reach up to 38 euros. On an annual mileage of 10,000 km, a family can save between 750 and 800 euros. This amount, Enel notes, rises to 920 euros if charging is done only at home. The benefits extend beyond charging alone. The purchase prices of electric models are now close to those of traditional vehicles (-4% for larger cars). Moreover, maintenance costs are about 10% lower over an 8-year period. It is within this context that the offer comes in. Until November 11, Enel reduces the cost of public charging by up to 20%. It also offers Waybox at a promotional price of 199€, a 50% discount. This confirms the company’s commitment to making electrification an increasingly simple and cost-effective option. This includes renewing the ‘Enel Digital Luce’ offer, which “offers the lowest price for the energy component among”

“the primary operators.”

Enel discounts and a 40 euro voucher for new electricity customers

But there is also an offer for those who own a conventional car and choose Enel for their home energy supply. Until November 4, all new electricity and gas customers who sign up for the dedicated offers can receive a voucher worth 40 euros (equivalent to 57 KWh based on the average cost of public charging) to use for charging electric vehicles through the Enel On Your Way app. Alternatively, it can be used to refuel with gasoline or diesel at Q8 stations. “The energy transition,” concludes Enel, “is not just an environmental sustainability choice at the moment; it also saves families money. Ultimately, considering the entire vehicle lifecycle—from purchase to refueling and maintenance—electric vehicles already outperform gasoline-powered ones today.”
