Hotel Charging 2.0: Elli explains it (and answers your questions)

On September 29, join Elli Connect & Charge for in-hotel charging: all the questions and answers in the webinar organized by Vaielettrico.

Electric vehicles continue to grow in major European countries, now accounting for about one third of new car registrations in Germany, France, and the United Kingdom—the main tourist destinations to Italy. Therefore, charging infrastructure for electric vehicles has become a strategic service for the competitiveness of Italy’s hospitality sector, especially for those targeting international guests. However, hotels, residences, and campsites capable of offering this service to their guests remain a minority. This poses the risk that millions of European e-drivers—7.6 million BEVs and around another million plug-in hybrids were on the roads in Europe by the end of 2025—will choose other destinations for their vacations.

Elli Connect & Charge, Key-in-Hand Hotel Charging

Elli, Volkswagen Group’s company focused on charging services, recognized this need and developed a tailored solution: Connect & Charge. The goal is to reduce the technical and operational complexities that often hinder investment. It offers an integrated solution that can be applied in a wide variety of settings.

Connect & Charge indeed offers hospitality owners a “turnkey” solution that integrates charging infrastructure, management software, and benefits for guests even on public charging networks interoperable with the Elli network. This approach surpasses the traditional destination charging model. The stated goal is to make charging a natural part of hospitality, contributing to the development of a tourism ecosystem better suited for electric mobility.

September 29 from 11 to 12: Register for the webinar

We discussed this here, at the debut in Italy on Lake Como, at the Hotel Promessi Sposi in Malgrate. And today, Vaielettrico gives all Italian hospitality professionals the opportunity to speak directly with Elli for a “personalized” in-depth discussion. We will do this during the webinar scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, from 11 to 12.

Attendance is free, subject to registration via this link: https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_GmWf97R0QAGGgHugUGKKtg.

We remind you that all participants registered for the webinar can submit written questions to the speakers through the ZOOM platform’s chat. The full recording will be uploaded and made available on Vaielettrico’s YouTube channel later.

Joining Vaielettrico’s co-founder, Massimo Degli Esposti, will be Elli’s Sales Ambassador for Italy, Francesco Quaglieri, and Diego Trabucchi, Charge Guru’s Country Manager for Italy, who assisted Elli in designing and installing the charging infrastructure.
