The Renault 5 E-Tech electric model is now 1710 euros cheaper, available for order at 26,290 euros going forward

The Renault 5 E-Tech electric model will be cheaper by 1710 euros across all trims for the new model year. The starting price for the Evolution 120 Urban Range, equipped with a 90 kW (122 HP) electric motor and a 40-kWh battery offering 312 kilometers of range per WLTP cycle, is now 26,290 euros.
Even after the price reduction, the Comfort Range battery version with 52 kWh capacity, providing up to 417 kilometers of range per charge and 110 kW (150 HP) power, remains below the 30,000-euro mark: it starts at 29,290 euros when paired with the Evolution trim.
Starting with the Techno trim level, a new ventilated inductive smartphone charging pad featuring magnetic ring technology is standard on this all-electric city car. It is designed to enable fast charging without overheating. The Multi-Sense driving mode system is also standard there, supplemented by a Smart Mode that automatically switches between Eco, Comfort, and Sport depending on driving style.
In the Iconic Five and Roland Garros trim levels, features that were previously optional are now standard. These include blind spot monitors, exit assist, and rear cross-traffic warning systems. The Active Driver Assist system is also included, combining emergency stop assist, adaptive cruise control, and lane centering functions to bring the vehicle to a stop if no response is detected and no hands are identified on the steering wheel.
Starting in the fourth quarter, Renault will expand the customization options for its electric vehicle. New colors include DeZir-Red and Dolomit-Grey, along with 18-inch Techno alloy wheels in gold tone. Additionally, four new roof and door decals in the Hyper5 or Vibrant5 style are available in black, red, or gold.
