Peugeot is introducing the 4.6-meter-long Expert light commercial vehicle for the 2027 model year with an updated lineup of features, including two all-electric powertrain options. The van and double-cab versions will now come in Active, Control, and Tech trims, each differing in terms of technology and comfort. Both electric variants are available across all trim levels.
The electric entry-level version of the Expert combines a 100 kW (136 HP) electric motor with a 42-kWh battery, achieving up to 223 kilometers of WLTP range in the M/L2 length variant. A three-phase 11-kW onboard charger is standard, while DC fast charging up to 100 kW is available as an option. The starting price for the E-Expert is 38,300 euros including VAT.
An alternative version with a 69 kWh net battery capacity is available, offering up to 352 kilometers of combined WLTP range in the M/L2 length variant. This version includes both the three-phase 11-kW onboard charger and 100 kW DC fast charging as standard features; prices start at 43,300 euros including VAT.
With Active, Peugeot introduces a new base trim that includes features such as a rear parking assist, manual air conditioning, a touchscreen audio system, camera-based fatigue and distraction detection, a speed regulator and limiter, as well as a lane-keeping and hill-start assist. The mid-tier Control trim adds items like a 10-inch touchscreen, a similarly large dashboard, keyless entry, a 180-degree rearview camera, fog lights, and electrically folding exterior mirrors. The top-tier Tech version includes an integrated navigation system, LED headlights, a front parking assist, a 2-zone automatic climate control, a blind-spot assist, and an inductive charging pad.
Peugeot is also expanding its range of individually orderable accessories, including options that were previously only available as packages. For example, in the Active and Control trim levels, a heated steering wheel with leather finish and an inductive charging pad can now be ordered separately. The turning radius of 12.4 meters and the vehicle height of 1.90 meters remain unchanged. Additionally, the special color Green 357 C is being introduced for all body variants, while the M and XL van models offer a permissible total weight of 2495 kilograms as an optional feature at no extra cost.
The existing body dimensions and loading capacity of up to 6.6 cubic meters in the XL version stay the same. The Peugeot Expert Tech Edition special series will continue unchanged alongside the new trim levels.
