With this new generation, the Peugeot e-3008 has undergone a significant change in design. The SUV now features fastback lines, with a highly sloped trunk lid, a sculpted hood, and a meticulously designed lighting signature. At 4.54 meters long, 1.89 meters wide, and 1.64 meters high, it retains dimensions suitable for family use. Its trunk capacity can reach 588 liters, or 544 liters on the Dual Motor version. Up to 701 km of range for greater reach
The Peugeot e-3008 is available with two battery capacities. The 73 kWh version paired with a 213 hp engine claims up to 526 km of WLTP range. With its 96.9 kWh battery, the 230 hp Long Range version can achieve 701 km according to the certification cycle.
For long trips, the SUV can draw up to 160 kW from a fast charger, with Peugeot stating that it takes about 30 minutes to charge from 20% to 80%.
As with any electric vehicle, the actual range depends on driving conditions, temperature, and type of route. During our Supertest of the Peugeot e-3008, we measured nearly 420 km of range in a mixed cycle at a temperature of 14 °C. The interior is one of the standout features of the new e-3008. In the GT and GT Exclusive trims, the driver is faced with a stunning 21-inch curved panoramic screen. The multimedia system offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while various versions can be equipped with numerous comfort features. In the GT Exclusive version, the Alcantara seats are particularly available with heating, ventilation, and massage functions.
The test primarily allows you to discover the philosophy of Peugeot’s i-Cockpit: the position of the small steering wheel, the layout of the instruments, the use of the touchscreen, and access to various controls. It’s a very distinctive ergonomics design that’s hard to appreciate without actually sitting behind the wheel.
