Peugeot e-2008: Up to 10,000 € in purchase subsidies for the electric SUV

The electric 2008 comes with a discount and buy-back offer that can reach up to 3,900 €. On top of that, there’s the EU subsidy, which can amount to 6,100 €.

Like almost all electric models, the Peugeot e-2008 benefits from rising fuel prices. In 2026, its sales in France have increased by 53% compared to 2025.

This success doesn’t mean good deals aren’t available. Depending on the version, the model enjoys a discount ranging from 2,750 to 2,900 €. There’s also a buy-back bonus of 1,000 €. In total, this can amount to up to 3,900 € according to official offers, though our advice remains to always push for more, especially since this model is a bit older and faces strong competition.

In addition, there is a “boost” allowance that varies depending on the household’s income. The basic subsidy, even for those with higher incomes, is 3,600 €. The maximum subsidy is 6,100 €. In the best case, this means a reduction of 10,000 € on the bill!

The good thing is that the base version is already quite impressive, as it features a 156 hp engine and a 51 kWh battery (usable capacity) that provides a WLTP combined range of 406 km. It comes standard with a 7.4 kWh AC charger along with V2L capability. An 11 kW charger costs 400 €. For fast DC charging, the rate reaches up to 100 kW. These specifications are within average levels for this category.

The 2008 model benefits from its large size (4.30 meters), which allows it to have a trunk capacity of 434 liters. In the base Style version, features such as automatic climate control, a 10-inch touchscreen, and electric defroster mirrors are standard. The list price starts at 38,500 € and can drop to 28,500 € with the best subsidies.
