Arval/Geely partnership to develop electric vehicles

Geely Auto and Arval have signed a memorandum of understanding to facilitate the transition to electric vehicles in fleets across Europe and Latin America.
Goals of the partnership
Strongly represented at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, Geely Auto positions itself as “one of the world’s leading manufacturers of electric and electrified vehicles.” Arval is known for its mobility solutions that offer leased vehicles. Together, the two companies took advantage of this annual event to sign a memorandum aiming to explore a strategic collaboration that will accelerate the shift toward electric mobility in Europe.
According to the terms used in the press release issued on Monday, October 19, 2026, the Chinese group aims “to offer its rapidly expanding range of new energy passenger vehicles to Arval’s expertise in full-service leasing and mobility solutions.”
Thus, in Europe as well as Latin America, professionals and individuals could benefit “from better access to electric and electrified vehicles,” as well as “flexible mobility solutions” and “services designed to simplify the transition toward more sustainable transportation.”
Example with the city car priced at 20,990 euros
Pascal Brasseur, Director of Distribution at Arval, justified this partnership by stating that “the transition to electric mobility can only succeed through collaboration across the mobility ecosystem.” On the side of the Asian automaker, Aiden He, CEO of Geely Europe, said that “by working with Arval, we aim to offer customers more choices and accelerate the adoption of electric mobility in European markets.”
This year, at the World Motor Show, the brand sought to impress visitors by displaying its versatile electric vehicle E2 alongside its stylish SUV E5, with pricing starting at 20,990 euros.
At 4.14 meters in length, this entry-level model is equipped with an LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery with a raw energy capacity of 35 kWh, giving it a range of 252 km under the WLTP mixed cycle. The battery powers a permanent magnet synchronous motor that delivers 60 kW (82 hp) of power to the rear wheels, along with a torque of 150 Nm.
Zeekr Already Available in 2023
It’s not new for Arval to offer electric vehicles from the Geely group under its LLD program. Exactly three years ago, a partnership agreement was signed to introduce Zeekr’s lineup first in the Netherlands, Sweden, and Germany. The offering is now also available in France.
