ORLEN Charge lowers autumn charging prices for ORLEN VITAY app users

ORLEN Charge lowers autumn charging prices for ORLEN VITAY app users

From October 30 at 9:00 until November 16 at midnight, the cost per kWh at DC ports is 2.19 PLN instead of 2.69 PLN, and at AC ports it is 1.59 PLN instead of 1.95 PLN. The reduction is 50 and 36 groszy per kWh respectively.

In terms of percentage, this represents a reduction of about 18.5% in both cases. For drivers, it’s easiest to see this with an example of 40 kWh: the cost at DC ports will be 87.60 PLN instead of 107.60 PLN (a savings of 20 PLN), while at AC ports it will be 63.60 PLN instead of 78 PLN (over 14 PLN less). These promotional rates apply throughout the entire campaign period, and details along with the current price list can be found in the app and on the ORLEN Charge website. ORLEN Charge’s autumn promotion allows drivers to take advantage of charging at lower prices. Remember, however, that for this promotion, the ending time of charging matters, not the starting time.

Network: over 1400 locations and hubs with up to 400 kW capacity

According to the company’s statement, the network now has over 1,400 locations. Recently added sites include Szumowo, Zgorzelec, as well as Stobiecko Szlacheckie Wschód and Zachód. Earlier, hubs were opened in Nowy Dwór Gdańskim, Gorzów Wielkopolski, and Szczecin.

Each hub has 8 fast-charging stations, allowing several cars to charge simultaneously. The charging power for passenger cars reaches 400 kW per connector. ORLEN states that it takes about 20 minutes to recharge to an optimal level, time enough to grab a coffee at the stop.cafe located near the hub.

By the end of 2027, the company plans to open dozens of new hubs and over a hundred standalone charging stations in total. The statement does not specify the exact number of hubs.

From the editorial team: even after the reduction in DC charging rates (2.19 PLN/kWh), it remains more expensive than AC charging at regular rates (1.95 PLN/kWh). For long stays where time is not a concern, slower charging remains cheaper.
