ORLEN Charge lowers prices for charging electric cars. DC at 2.19 PLN/kWh

In the article:

DC charging will be cheaper by 50 groszy/kWh, while AC charging will be cheaper by 36 groszy/kWh.

The promotion starts on October 30 at 9:00 and lasts until midnight on November 16.

ORLEN Charge is currently the largest AC charging network in Poland in terms of the number of public charging points.

ORLEN Charge with discounts

Starting today,即 October 30 at 9:00, ORLEN Charge users will be able to charge their electric vehicles at a lower cost. The standard price for electricity at DC charging ports will drop from 2.69 to 2.19 zł/kWh. For AC charging, the rate will decrease from 1.95 to 1.59 zł/kWh.

This means a discount of 50 groszy per kilowatt-hour when charging via DC and 36 groszy for AC charging. For example, topping up 50 kWh of energy using a fast charger will cost 109.50 zł instead of 134.50 zł, saving 25 zł. With AC charging, the same amount of energy will cost 79.50 zł rather than 97.50 zł, a reduction of 18 zł.

These promotional prices are not entirely new. ORLEN Charge used exactly the same rates during a summer promotion that ran from the end of June to the beginning of September 2026. After that period ended, the standard rates of 2.69 zł/kWh for DC and 1.95 zł/kWh for AC were reinstated.

Lower costs even for parking

During the promotion, the fee for parking at the charger will also be reduced. For both AC and DC charging, it will drop from 0.40 to 0.33 zł per minute.

However, this is not a fee charged immediately upon connecting the car. In the ORLEN Charge network, it applies only after 60 minutes of charging for DC, and after 720 minutes, or 12 hours, for AC. Its main purpose is to encourage users to vacate the charging spot after a sufficiently long session.

The promotion will run until 24:00 on November 16, 2026. To take advantage of it, you must be a registered user of the ORLEN VITAY app. Starting in May 2026, ORLEN Charge functions will be available within this app—the operator’s separate app has been discontinued.

The offer does not include roaming transactions or paid charging without ad hoc registration. It cannot also be combined with other discount programs.

ORLEN Charge already has nearly 1,400 charging points

This promotion comes as ORLEN Charge’s network expands rapidly. At the end of 2025, ORLEN Group had 1,291 charging points in Poland. By August 2026, the company reported nearly 1,400 points operating in cities, at gas stations, and on major routes.

ORLEN has built a particularly strong position in AC charging. According to F5A New Mobility Research and Consulting, by the end of the third quarter of 2026, ORLEN Charge accounted for 13 percent of all publicly available AC charging points in Poland, giving the network the top position in the market.

At the same time, the operator is developing faster charging along major routes. Multi-station hubs are being established in additional locations, where eight cars can charge simultaneously. These devices offer a power output of up to 400 kW per station and utilize dynamic allocation of available power among connected cars. Such facilities are already in operation in places like Nowy Dwór Gdański, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Stare Miasto, and Szczecin, as well as at service areas along expressways.

ORLEN is also developing charging for trucks

This year, the network has also expanded beyond infrastructure designed solely for passenger cars. Along the A1 highway, at the ORLEN Stobiecko Szlacheckie East and West service stations, the company launched Poland’s first public infrastructure equipped with Megawatt Charging System (MCS) connections, which is a megawatt-level charging system intended for electric trucks.

The charging capacity there can reach 1.5 MW. Both locations also have a total of eight charging points for passenger cars.

Expansion is set to continue. By the end of 2027, ORLEN plans to open several dozen more hubs as well as over 100 additional standalone locations, meaning independent fast-charging stations.

For drivers, price remains the most important factor for now. For just over two weeks, the rates at ORLEN Charge will return to the level seen during the summer promotion. With larger charges, the difference is significant – charging 60 kWh via DC will cost 131.40 PLN instead of 161.40 PLN, a reduction of exactly 30 PLN.
