Xpeng’s Polish branch announced that the new Xpeng L03 will be available in Poland starting in October. Prices for the Standard Range version with a 58.3 (~57) kWh battery and rear-wheel drive start at 154,900 złoty, 4,900 złoty lower than previously estimated. The Long Range version with a larger 71.2 (~69) kWh battery will cost 167,900 złoty. There are also an Ultra and AWD versions, and for those concerned about charging, a plug-in edition with an internal combustion engine generator under the hood is available at 167,900 złoty as well.

The Xpeng L03 – in China: the Xpeng Mona L03 is a car designed with cost efficiency in mind. It uses a 400 V architecture and LFP cells, but these can still be charged at 3 C, reaching 80 percent charge in 20 minutes from 10 percent. This is comparable to the Porsche Taycan or Hyundai Ioniq 6, which also take around 18 minutes to charge to the same level, but worse than the Xpeng G6, which only needs 12 minutes at a suitable charger.

Dimensions: The Xpeng L03 is 4.65 meters long, 2.85 meters wide between axles, 1.6 meters tall, and 1.89 to 1.93 meters wide (without mirrors), placing it in the D-SUV segment. Based on its interior space and trunk capacity (539 liters at the back, 69 or 102 liters in front), our editorial team concluded that the L03 is a direct competitor to the Skoda Enyaq. It differs from its Czech rival in terms of battery capacity and maximum WLTP range: 520 kWh in the Long Range RWD version, compared to a maximum of 596 kWh in the Skoda Enyaq Coupe. This comes at the cost of an additional 9 minutes (+45%) for charging.

The Xpeng L03 will be available in Poland in five versions, four electric and one gasoline-powered:

Xpeng L03 RWD Standard Range 58.3 (~57) kWh, 445 WLTP miles – starting at 154,900 zł,

Xpeng L03 RWD Long Range 71.2 (~69) kWh, 520 WLTP miles – starting at 167,900 zł,

Xpeng L03 RWD Long Range Ultra 71.2 (~69) kWh, 480 WLTP miles – starting at 189,900 zł,

Xpeng L03 AWD Performance Ultra 71.2 (~69) kWh, 440 WLTP miles – starting at 206,900 zł,

Xpeng L03 PowerX RWD Long Range Gasoline-Technology 1,017 WLTP miles – 167,900 zł.

The version with a gasoline-powered generator under the hood offers the greatest range, at 1,017 WLTP units. Its battery has a capacity of 37.25 (~36) kWh, and it can charge from 10% to 80% in 20 minutes. Interestingly, the use of a gasoline engine rules out all-wheel drive, likely because there isn’t enough space under the hood for an electric motor. It should be noted, however, that the AWD version is currently paired with a high level of equipment and large wheels, which offset any range advantages from using a larger battery.

Equipment Options

The basic navigation is set to use Google Maps in the future; it is unclear whether the system will be translated into Polish. The central display will be 15.9 inches large, and standard features include a head-up display (HUD), ambient lighting, heated and ventilated seats, an Xopera audio system with 9 speakers, active noise cancellation (ANC), the ability to recharge devices at 6 kW, and an automatic parking system. The Xpeng L03 is therefore a car for tech enthusiasts, namely those who once drove Tesla sales upward.

In addition to this, the car allows towing a trailer, it also has massage seats in the front, an electrically adjustable sofa in the back, and an AI assistant that can understand commands related to cabin temperature — though it’s unclear how the various options are distributed across different trim levels. If we’re interested in China’s equivalent of FSD, the Xpeng NGP (VLA 2.0), we must opt for the Ultra version with two (or three?) Turing chips. It should be noted that this technology is not yet available in Europe.
