Answer. What we know is that the 2Cv is already the star of every event Citroen organizes around the world. A few days ago it appeared at a meeting held in Paris by Stellantis Group’s headquarters, with 450 dealers present. It was in an unprecedented green color, different from the orange version seen at the recent auto show in the French capital. It is known to be released in 2028, but it will likely be available for pre-order online by the end of 2027. The price has been confirmed at 15,000 euros. Production will almost certainly take place at Stellantis’ plant in Pomigliano, near Naples. Its length is 376 cm, 11 cm more than the Fiat Panda. Weight: one ton. Finally, its range is expected to be around 300 km. When introducing it, Citroen’s CEO, Xavier Chardon (photo above), used these words: “An icon? Absolutely. Nostalgia? Not for us. The 2CV, no.”
