Nissan has just taken an important step in its European electrification strategy by announcing the prices for its new urban electric car. The Nissan Pixo is now available for reservation in Germany starting at 19,990 euros, a price that places it among the most affordable options on the market. The Japanese brand has confirmed three trims, all of which come standard with fast charging, with first deliveries expected in early 2027.
The Pixo is the sibling model to the Renault Twingo E-Tech, sharing much of its technology and manufacturing platform. In fact, both models are produced at Renault’s plant in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. Although Nissan has not yet announced the final prices for Spain, the German pricing gives an idea of its market positioning. Additionally, the Pixo matches the starting price of that French compact electric vehicle there.

Starting at 19,990 euros with 3 trims
The German version of the Nissan Pixo starts with the Engage trim, available from 19,990 euros. This version comes standard with a 7-inch digital dashboard, a 10.1-inch multimedia screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, LED headlights, and heated mirrors. It also includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and traffic sign recognition.
Above that is the Advance trim, starting at 21,290 euros. For an additional 1,300 euros, it includes navigation via Google Maps, access to Google Play apps, the Gemini artificial intelligence assistant, and a route planner specific for electric vehicles. It also features a rearview camera and two rear seats that can move individually up to 170 mm to improve interior space distribution.
The top-of-the-line Evolve costs 22,690 euros. Its additional features include 18-inch alloy wheels, electrically folding mirrors, a rain sensor, and levers for adjusting regenerative braking. It also offers one-pedal driving to a stop, adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go function, blind spot monitoring, and automatic parking.

A 27.5 kWh battery and up to 259 kilometers of range
Regardless of the trim level, all Nissan Pixo models use the same powertrain. It consists of an 82 HP electric motor and a 27.5 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery. With this combination, the manufacturer claims a range of up to 259 kilometers according to the WLTP cycle, 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 11.9 seconds, and a top speed of 130 km/h.
One of its most interesting features is that all versions come standard with fast DC charging up to 50 kW, allowing them to charge from 15% to 80% of the battery in approximately 28 minutes. They also include an AC charger at 11 kW. These specifications are paired with a body length of 3,796 mm and a cabin designed for four occupants, along with a trunk space of up to 356 liters.
How much will the Nissan Pixo cost in Spain?
For now, Nissan has only confirmed the prices for Germany, where orders are already open. Specific prices and trims for Spain have not yet been announced, so it cannot be guaranteed that the €19,990 price for the base version will remain exactly the same in our market. Prices for Spain are expected to be released in the coming days, with the first deliveries to Europe scheduled for early 2027. However, given that its “siblings,” the Twingo and Spring, start at less than €20,000, the Pixo should follow a similar pricing structure.
