When Nissan unveiled the Pixo in September, the manufacturer announced prices and pre-order details for late 2026. It began accepting orders in early November. This confirms the price in Germany for the city car, which was designed at Nissan’s design center in London and manufactured at Renault’s plant in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. Renault also set the price for the base version of the technically related Renault Twingo E-Tech at 19,990 euros in January.
Three trims starting at 19,990 euros
The Pixo is available in three trims: the entry-level Engage starts at 19,990 euros, the mid-range Advance at 21,290 euros, and the top model Evolve at 22,690 euros. These are gross prices including 19 percent VAT. The price difference from the base version is thus 1,300 euros and 2,700 euros respectively. Nissan says deliveries are set to begin in early 2027. The available paint colors are Midnight Purple, Authentic Blue, Elegant Silver, and Pure White.

The standard equipment of the Engage includes a digital 7-inch combination instrument panel and a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also features automatic climate control, LED headlights, heated exterior mirrors, and a cruise control system with braking function. As for assistance systems, it is equipped with an autonomous emergency braking assistant, a lane-keeping assistant, and traffic sign recognition.
The Advance complements Google Maps, the Google Play Store with over 70 apps, the voice assistant Gemini, and a route planner with charging schedule functionality. It also features face recognition for personalized settings, a six-speaker sound system, a rearview camera, and tinted windows starting from the B-pillar. The two rear seats can be moved individually up to 17 centimeters, their backs can be adjusted in angle, and they can be folded individually. Seat heating for the front seats is available as an option starting from this model line.
The Evolve features 18-inch alloy wheels, electrically folding exterior mirrors, a steering wheel with synthetic leather covering, and a rain sensor. The recovery setting can be adjusted using switches on the steering wheel, while the one-pedal stop function allows the car to slow down to a stop using only the accelerator pedal. It also includes an adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, an active blind spot monitoring system, and an automated parking system.
At its launch in September, Nissan mentioned that Google, Gemini, and facial recognition would be standard across all trims, along with adaptive cruise control and hands-free parking. Market-specific features were said to follow later. According to the latest announcement for Germany, these functions are only available in higher trims.

Powertrain, Battery, and Range
The electric motor delivers 60 kW (82 hp) in all versions and provides a maximum torque of 175 Nm. The Pixo accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.9 seconds, with a top speed of 130 km/h. The lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery has a capacity of 27.5 kWh. Nissan claims a range of up to 259 kilometers according to WLTP standards, with combined energy consumption ranging from 12.4 to 12.6 kWh per 100 kilometers. According to the manufacturer, these and other technical specifications are still subject to final homologation.
Charging Capacity and Times
The Pixo can be charged using direct current at up to 50 kW as standard, with Nissan stating that charging from 15% to 80% takes around 28 minutes. With alternating current, 11 kW is available across all trims, and the manufacturer claims it takes 2 hours and 35 minutes to charge from 10% to 100%. During its launch in September, Nissan described the AC charging as bidirectional, implying the car could also supply power. The current announcement does not address this aspect.
Dimensions and Trunk Space
The Pixo is 3,796 millimeters long, 1,790 millimeters wide without the side mirrors, and 1,512 millimeters high, with a wheelbase of 2,492 millimeters. Its turning radius is 9.9 meters, and its curb weight is 1,186 kilograms. According to Nissan, up to four people can fit in the interior. The trunk has a capacity of up to 356 liters, including a 50-liter compartment for charging cables as mentioned in the September announcement. With the rear seats folded down, the capacity increases to 1,221 liters.
Would the Pixo, with a range of up to 259 kilometers, be a good choice as a city car for you, or would you prefer the Twingo?
