The Nissan Ariya is partially disappearing from Europe, despite having just undergone a facelift. It will remain where there is demand.
The facelifted Nissan Ariya arrived in European markets just in July of this year, and there are already signs that it will soon disappear from the Old Continent. We asked the Polish branch about this and received partial confirmation of the information: the car will remain in markets with the highest demand, but it will indeed be removed from others. This is the first car we know of where a facelift and end of sales occur practically back to back.

A question about the model was sent to us by a reader, Mr. Krzysztof, who read that the Nissan Ariya would be withdrawn from Denmark as soon as the stock of the launch edition runs out, right after the facelift. However, Danes assure that they are not announcing the end of the car in the country because it is likely they will be able to order more units, possibly even those with all-wheel drive (e-Force). In other words: a determined customer who visits the dealership will still order and buy an Ariya.

We asked Dorota Pajączkowska, the PR manager for Nissan in Poland, about this. Here is the full response we received:
No – the claim that supply of the Ariya to Europe will end is an overstatement. The model will remain available in selected European markets with the highest demand, including the United Kingdom and Germany, where the 2026 model was recently introduced.
In some countries, sales of the model will cease once current stock is exhausted.
Apart from the interesting points we’ve already mentioned (the Ariya will be available in the UK and Germany, among others), let’s note a comparison: in markets with the highest demand, the facelifted MY2026 version was introduced, which resembles the Nissan Leaf in appearance. In other countries, nothing new has been launched; the current version will continue to be sold until stock runs out. After keeping these two points in mind, let’s take a look at Nissan’s Polish website:
We don’t have the facelift version here, so we fall into the category of countries with low demand. This means the Nissan Ariya will gradually disappear from the Polish market [editorial inference by Elektrowoz; not stated in the email we received – editor]. Therefore, if anyone is a fan of Japanese design with a sharp, katana-like aesthetic, a futuristic and spacious interior, as well as good noise insulation, they should make a purchase decision quickly. They shouldn’t forget, however, that the Nissan Ariya is based on an older 400 V architecture and prefers chargers that provide the highest possible power levels.
