MapEV upgrades the Porsche Taycan 4 to Turbo S. You pay 13,500 zł and get performance equivalent to a 452,000 zł car. It also works with the VW ID.4 and Skoda Enyaq.

T1 Race Development / MapEV specializes in modifying vehicle software for the J1 and MEB platforms. Their solutions enable performance upgrades for certain versions of the Audi Q4 e-tron, Skoda Enyaq, VW ID.4, and VW ID.5, but perhaps the most impressive results have been achieved with the Porsche Taycan. Specifically, the Porsche Taycan 4 Performance Battery Plus can be tuned to match the performance level of a Porsche Taycan Turbo S, meaning for 13,500 złotys, the owner gains power that would otherwise cost almost as much as the entire car itself.

Tuning for VW ID.4, Skoda Enyaq, VW ID.3, Audi Q4 e-tron
Let’s start with the specifications and prices: The Porsche Taycan 4 Performance Battery Plus is the version with a larger battery of 105 (~99) kWh, offering a maximum power output of 300 kW/408 hp and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds (Illustration No. 1). It costs 521,065 złoty, but if we need any additional equipment or want the car to look better, we’ll have to pay a significant extra amount. The Porsche Taycan Turbo S has 700 kW/952 hp in Launch Control mode, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, comes with many more extra features compared to the Taycan 4 PB+, and costs starting at 973,000 złoty (Illustration No. 2):

It seems the first car is equivalent to the Celeron 300A, a processor capable of operating at 450 MHz, which Intel sold as a 300 MHz version [100 MHz bus -> 66 MHz; does anyone still remember that? – editor] to fill the gap in the market for cheap CPUs. The Taycan 4 has the same engines, inverters, and battery as the Turbo S version, but it costs half as much. Thanks to MapEV, its power can be boosted to 691 kW/940 hp and 990 Nm of torque. The Launch mode is always available, the software also stiffens the suspension, and traction control helps keep the car on the road.
The same applies to the Audi e-tron GT, which is essentially a Porsche Taycan with a different body style. In older versions, the savings are smaller. The maximum cost for such a software upgrade is roughly equivalent to 13,500 Polish zlotys plus shipping costs. The website is HERE.
I just learned that you can double the power of a Porsche Taycan 4 (& Audi e-Tron GT) with a tune, from 429hp to 927hp lol. Apparently it has the same motors as the Turbo S variant. pic.twitter.com/8QYsMpDk7J

MapEV also has expertise with vehicles based on the MEB platform. Models from before the platform’s modernization could have up to 150 kW/204 HP with an APP310 engine, even if they officially listed lower figures. Versions equipped with engines in both axles (such as the Skoda Enyaq 80x) can be upgraded to RS/GTX edition specifications (195 kW/265 HP → 220 kW/299 HP), along with increased torque. While the improvement in AWD variants might be moderate, even the base editions can become significantly faster, as MapEV promises “reduced latency in responding to acceleration pedal pressure.”

This kind of pleasure costs several hundred euros, equivalent to a few thousand zlotys. It’s usually around 650 euros, just under 3,400 zlotys including VAT plus shipping costs. It should be noted that few people in Poland care about car tuning, but according to the law, any change to a vehicle’s specifications should require a new technical inspection, as the parameters listed in the registration certificate—based on which the model received approval—change. A thorough insurance company might refuse to pay out a claim if an accident occurs.
