To establish its various brands in Europe, Geely is adjusting its strategy. Lynk&Co, which entered the market in 2021, is now entrusting its future to Volvo, which was named the official distributor starting January 1, 2027.

Having arrived in Europe with a distribution model based on a single model offered almost exclusively for rent, Lynk & Co revised its approach a few months ago. The shift back to a more conventional distribution model was accompanied by an expansion of its product range. To strengthen its presence, the brand is handing over its distribution to Volvo.

This kind of collaboration is by no means new. Lynk & Co was originally established as a partnership between Volvo and Geely. And since the first deliveries to Europe, the maintenance of rented vehicles has been handled through the Swedish manufacturer’s network.

Through this expanded partnership, Lynk&Co will be able to leverage Volvo’s strengths and resources. Specifically, the network is expected to grow significantly with more sales and service outlets shared by both brands, while still preserving each brand’s identity through dedicated exhibition areas and staff. The network currently consists of 140 sales outlets in 25 countries, many of which are already distribution groups that handle Volvo sales.

This upcoming increase in brand visibility will be accompanied by the introduction of new models. The Lynk & Co 7 GT will be the first of them. Will this rechargeable hybrid station wagon be followed by the large electric sedan, the Lynk & Co 10?
