Lucid Gravity: new trim logic with a €94,900 price tag

Lucid has introduced new equipment variants for its electric SUV Gravity in Europe and reduced its base price by €5,000 - to €94,900, in the case of the Gravity Touring. Four equipment lines are now available, with two motorisations still on offer.

Until now, Lucid has offered only two battery-electric SUV variants in Germany – the Gravity Touring and Gravity Grand Touring – which differ primarily in terms of powertrain and battery. Both could be customised with additional extras in the configurator, often pushing the price above the base figures of €99,900 and €116,900, respectively. Now, the US manufacturer is revising its trim logic and introducing a new trim level called Gravity Touring Plus, positioned between the two existing variants. Additionally, Lucid is adding a new top-tier trim, the Gravity Grand Touring Ultimate.

According to a press release shared with electrive, this change aims to “offer European customers a simpler selection process, enhanced standard equipment with technology and comfort features, and an attractive entry price for the brand.” The focus is on a streamlined structure and a new starting price of €94,900. At the same time, Lucid is upgrading its standard equipment across all variants: the ‘DreamDrive’ Premium package, which includes high-beam assist, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and 3D surround-view cameras, is now included as standard. From the Gravity Touring Plus upwards, a seven-seat configuration and the ‘Comfort & Convenience Package’ are also standard.

The new trim variants are available for order immediately. The first customer deliveries in Europe are expected in autumn 2026. Below is an overview of the four versions:

Lucid Gravity Touring: As the entry-level model in the European Gravity line-up, this variant offers 418 kW of power, an 89 kWh battery pack, and a combined WLTP range of up to 545 km. The starting price in Germany is €94,900. Leasing options start at €949 per month.

Lucid Gravity Touring Plus: This variant builds on the Gravity Touring’s powertrain and equipment by adding the seven-seat configuration and the aforementioned Comfort & Convenience Package. The starting price in Germany is €99,900. Leasing options start at €999 per month.

Lucid Gravity Grand Touring: This variant features a 617 kW powertrain combined with a 123 kWh battery. The WLTP range is up to 739 km. The equipment includes premium seats with a massage function and higher DC fast-charging capability. The starting price in Germany is €119,900. Leasing options start at €1,199 per month.

Lucid Gravity Grand Touring Ultimate: At the top of the range, the Lucid Gravity Grand Touring Ultimate features the same powertrain as above, along with standard extras such as the DreamDrive 2 Pro package, the Dynamic Handling Package, a 22-speaker sound system, and a premium leather interior. The starting price in Germany is €147,500. Leasing options start at €1,475 per month.

The Lucid Gravity is a full-size SUV measuring 5.04 metres in length, 2.20 m in width, and 1.66 m in height, with a wheelbase of 3.04 m. As mentioned, it offers either standard or optional three-row seating for seven passengers, depending on the version. Technically, the Lucid Gravity is based on the battery-electric Lucid Air saloon and is claimed by the manufacturer to deliver ‘sports car performance’. This is reflected in its 617 kW powertrain and a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.6 seconds.

To enable exceptionally high charging speeds, the vehicle also features 926-volt architecture. This allows the variants with the larger battery to recharge up to 400 km of range in just 14 minutes, while maintaining a relatively stable charging curve. However, Lucid does not specify the time required to charge from 10 to 80 per cent, a metric often cited by other manufacturers.

“The updated Lucid Gravity model range provides European customers with even clearer guidance when choosing the SUV that best suits their needs,” says Lawrence Hamilton, President of Europe at Lucid. “With even more technology, comfort, and convenience features included as standard across the entire model range, the Lucid Gravity offers an even stronger combination of space, performance, efficiency, and advanced technology.”

In the USA, Lucid is simultaneously introducing a new performance version of the Gravity, the Lucid Gravity GT-S. This variant delivers around 787 kW of power and is available for order immediately – though exclusively in the USA. The price starts at US$125,900. It remains unclear whether the GT-S version will be introduced in Europe.
