Lucid Air and Gravity: here are the prices in France for these two electric cars with XXL range

Lucid is preparing to enter the French market. Just weeks before its first appearance at the Paris Motor Show, the American automaker has revealed the prices for its two electric models. The Air sedan will start at 86,900 euros, while the Gravity SUV will cost at least 95,900 euros. The price for the stunning Air Sapphire can even reach up to 252,900 euros.

France was once one of the major European markets still missing from Lucid’s portfolio. This situation is about to change. After announcing a partnership with Emil Frey France to prepare its entry, the California-based manufacturer is now moving forward by releasing its pricing schedule. The Lucid Air starts at 86,900 euros

The entry model in the lineup will be the Lucid Air Pure. Priced at 86,900 €, this large electric sedan delivers 442 horsepower and comes equipped with an 88 kWh battery. Its range is impressive: up to 831 km according to the WLTP cycle, with an estimated consumption of only 11.8 kWh/100 km in the most efficient configuration.

Above that, the Air Touring features two motors and all-wheel drive. It can travel 780 km and starts at 100,900 €. The Air Grand Touring costs 131,900 €. This model claims a WLTP range of 960 km, a truly exceptional figure in the market. Even the new BMW i3 can’t compete with that.

At the top of the pyramid is the Air Sapphire. Its three engines deliver an impressive 1,251 horsepower, enabling it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2 seconds and reach a top speed of 330 km/h. Such performance naturally comes at a price: 252,900 €.

The Gravity starts under 100,000 euros

For its large electric SUV, Lucid manages to keep the starting price below the symbolic 100,000 € mark. The Gravity Touring starts at 95,900 €. With its 568 horsepower, 89 kWh battery, and 545 km of WLTP range, it serves as the entry-level model. The Touring Plus version, which includes seven seats as standard, costs 99,900 €.

A significant price increase with the Gravity Grand Touring. Priced at 120,900 €, it delivers 839 horsepower and comes equipped with a massive 123 kWh battery that enables up to 739 km of WLTP range. Finally, the Gravity Grand Touring Ultimate costs 148,900 euros. It adds features such as rear steering wheels, a three-chamber pneumatic suspension, a 22-speaker audio system, and the DreamDrive 2 Pro system.

French customers will still have to wait a while before they can place an order. Lucid simply states that its two electric models will be available in France “soon.” The specific details on how they will be sold will be announced later. But no need to worry, it shouldn’t be much longer.
