Honda’s three hybrid SUVs are being updated to offer improved perceived quality and plenty of technology, starting at 29,460 €.

Honda updates its lineup of electric SUVs with redesigned models, improved features, and new customization options. The HR-V now comes in the Advance Sport trim, the ZR-V introduces new colors and safety technologies, while the CR-V expands its plug-in hybrid options with a more affordable version.

The updates retain the brand’s existing electrified powertrains. The HR-V and ZR-V use a self-charging hybrid system, whereas the CR-V offers a choice between this technology and the plug-in version, which achieves up to 78 kilometers of electric range per WLTP cycle.

The hybrid system combines a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with two electric motors. The range is available in four versions, priced at 29,460 euros for the Elegance, 33,060 euros for the Advance, 33,760 euros for the new Advance Sport, and 37,060 euros for the Advance Style Plus.

Honda ZR-V: More Technology and New Colors

The Honda ZR-V e:HEV strengthens its position as a mid-tier option in the range with aesthetic updates, interior improvements, and additional features. Its hybrid system combines a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with two electric motors, delivering a maximum power output of 184 HP.

The entire range features new 18-inch alloy wheels and a black and silver Honda emblem. The Advance trim adds fenders, side skirts, and wheel arch trims in the body color, creating a more integrated appearance.

The exterior palette also changes. Pearl Gray Urban and Metallic Denim Blue replace the previous Metallic Radiant Red and Pearl Still Night Blue.

Inside, the Sport version introduces a 10.2-inch multi-information digital display for the driver and a dark interior ceiling. The Advance trim expands customization options with new light-tone interior combinations and adds ventilated front seats.

Both the Sport and Advance models come standard with the driver monitoring camera, which is part of Honda SENSING’s suite of assist features. Additionally, the model complies with European emission standards Euro 6e bis and Phase 3 of the General Safety Regulation, known as GSR II.

The Spanish lineup includes two versions: the ZR-V e:HEV Sport, starting at 38,050 euros, and the ZR-V e:HEV Advance, starting at 41,920 euros.

Honda CR-V: a new plug-in hybrid version

The Honda CR-V e:HEV, the largest SUV in the lineup, receives an aesthetic update and expands its range of plug-in hybrid options with the Elegance Tech e trim level, positioned below the Advance Tech trim.

This new version makes it easier to access plug-in technology without compromising the comfort and equipment standards of the model. The main difference from the Advance Tech version lies in the equipment and certain specific features: the Elegance Tech comes with 18-inch tires, compared to 19-inch tires on the higher-end model.

The CR-V e maintains a certified electric range of up to 78 kilometers on the WLTP cycle. This range allows for many daily trips in electric mode, as long as the battery is regularly recharged. The plug-in version carries a CERO label.

The design changes also apply to the e versions. These feature new black elements such as the front emblem, antenna, grille with dark chrome bar, mirrors, and door handles. The 18-inch wheels also adopt a black finish.

The CR-V e:HEV Advance Tech comes with a specific grille featuring a platinum chrome bar, distinctive exterior details, and 19-inch wheels equipped with 235/55 tires. The body color palette includes Pearl Urban Gray, along with other colors available depending on the version. Inside, the entire range is equipped with a driver attention monitoring camera.

The prices listed for Spain are as follows: CR-V 2.0 e:HEV Elegance 4x2, 45,545 euros; CR-V 2.0 e:HEV Advance 4x4, 51,765 euros; CR-V 2.0 e:HEV Elegance Tech 4x2, 47,345 euros; and CR-V 2.0 e:HEV Advance Tech 4x2, 49,845 euros.
