Leapmotor with Over 1,000 Sales Locations in Europe
The Chinese electric vehicle brand Leapmotor has reached 1,000 dealer locations in Europe with strong support from the Stellantis group. Leapmotor achieved this milestone just two years after entering the European market.

Specifically, Leapmotor reports over 1,020 retail locations across Europe. These are spread across 36 European countries, from Iceland in the northwest to Bulgaria in the east, as well as the island of Malta. Recently, Norway and countries in the Balkans have been added, with more European nations set to follow.
The rapid expansion since the launch in Europe two years ago with the C10 and T03 models was made possible primarily through close cooperation with Stellantis, which acquired a 20 percent stake in Leapmotor in 2023. The goal was, on one hand, to boost Stellantis’ business in China (little has been heard about this so far) and, on the other hand, to bring Leapmotor’s electric vehicles to Europe. As part of this, the joint venture Leapmotor International was established to handle activities in Europe.
From the outset, it was part of the strategy to open Leapmotor showrooms at “selected dealerships of Stellantis brands across Europe,” as it was stated at the time. In other words, Leapmotor vehicles were meant to be sold alongside those from brands such as Fiat, Opel, or Peugeot under one roof. This explains how Leapmotor was able to reach the target of 1,000 locations in Europe within just two years.
A large number of sales outlets does not automatically guarantee strong sales performance. Yet Leapmotor seems to have struck a chord with European buyers: the company reported delivering 27 percent of its vehicles to Europe last month. Given that Leapmotor’s total sales in August amounted to 103,129 units, deliveries to Europe likely exceeded 27,800 vehicles.
Leapmotor is expanding its presence in Europe increasingly: following the electric city car T03 and the SUV C10 (available as a BEV and range extender), the compact SUV B10 (BEV and range extender) and the electric hatchback B05 are now also on European roads. The electric compact car B03X is already available for ordering. Additionally, another electric compact car, known as the A05 in China, is set to launch with the B03 model.

I haven’t had any good experiences with my dealer so far. There’s no reliable delivery date. My B10 was supposed to be delivered at the end of September. Then it was said the vehicle was in a temporary storage facility and we depended on the freight forwarder. I received this message 5 weeks ago. Still no delivery date to this day. I’m very disappointed.

Leapmotor is currently arguably the best manufacturer of affordable cars. In China as well as worldwide, vehicle registrations continue to rise, and it has now become a relatively large player in the market. That doesn’t mean their vehicles are perfect. For example, BYD offers more with its latest generation of vehicles, though these will only be available in China for many months. Tesla is too expensive and still outdated. In Europe, Renault and VW are doing a good job with affordable yet high-quality electric cars. Stellantis hopes to make a comeback with the STLA One or STLA Small (Peugeot e-208 2027 model). The best overall electric car packages definitely come from Europe and China.

Why is "DieErleuchtung" still allowed to spread misinformation? Tesla’s vehicles are always delivered with the latest hardware and software and are continuously updated. There is absolutely nothing outdated about these vehicles. The Model Y was the most popular and best-selling electric car in Europe during the third quarter.

I’ve received my B10 now. The vehicle has truly high-quality construction. The sound of the driver’s door closing is like that of a 80T+ model. The wheels have a sound-dampening layer inside the tire. The bright interior is great! The driving feel and comfort are two classes above average. A test drive might be enjoyable... Every time you get in, it gives you a feeling of joy and satisfaction. It’s an amazing car... and much larger than in the pictures.

On 25.09.2025, I got my C10 with 400 Volt technology. Now a year later, it has 42,000 Km on the clock. I would never give this vehicle away, even though everyone else now has 800 Volt models. It’s all just in people’s minds. I’m completely thrilled with it.
