Audi’s new A2 e-tron electric model passes its eco-score test: up to 6,145 € in purchase assistance

Audi’s new electric entry-level model has passed its eco-score test, offering benefits for both individuals and professionals.
When the new list of vehicles that have achieved the minimum environmental score was released, one model caught everyone’s attention. The Leapmotor B10 is indeed the first model from a Chinese brand to pass this test. But it wasn’t the only new entry on the list. The Audi A2 e-tron also passed the eco-score test.
There was no doubt that Audi’s new entry-level electric vehicle would be produced in Europe. But for the manufacturer and dealers, having this confirmation helps facilitate order placement and initial deliveries, which will take place in the coming weeks.
The main advantage of the eco-score is access to enhanced purchase subsidies for individuals. Depending on income, the subsidy amount varies as follows:
6,145 € for households with a per-person taxable income of up to 11,250 €
5,890 € for households with a per-person taxable income of 11,251 to 16,880 €
3,535 € for households with a per-person taxable income above 16,880 €.
Note that there is also an enhanced offer for households with a tax income of 16,881 to 27,310 euros and considered high-mileage drivers (12,000 km per year for work). The subsidy is 5,890 euros.
For legal entities, a specific subsidy for taxis is currently in effect, ranging from 3,410 to 3,560 euros depending on the configuration. For others, the subsidy is only 590 euros, but an eco-score entitles companies to significant tax benefits, including a 70% reduction on the in-kind benefit.
The new A2 e-tron is available starting at 38,600 euros with a range of 423 km, bringing the price down to 35,065 euros with the minimum subsidy. The version with a higher range of 646 km starts at 46,900 euros, which is the limit for qualifying for the enhanced subsidy.
