When will the payment for NaszEauto be transferred? There’s good news: you’ll receive an email. The money will arrive within 3 weeks at the latest.

The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management has sent encouraging news to everyone waiting for funds under the NaszEauto program. If they received an email confirming successful verification of their security deposit, the money will reach them within a maximum of three weeks. Currently, applications numbered around 41,000, submitted at the end of February 2026, are being processed.

The final step in applying for a subsidy under the NaszEauto program was to create an insurance assignment or issue a blank promissory note, which secured the funds received from the Fund. If this process succeeded and the organization accepted the security, the proud owner of an electric car had only weeks or months of waiting ahead before the funds appeared in their account. Now, communication is supposed to be clearer: approval from the official means an automatic notification and transfer within a maximum of three weeks:

We were surprised that the budget for NaszEauto subsidies was officially exceeded on January 27, 2026, while applications submitted on February 24, 2026, were still being evaluated at the end of June. That is, almost a month after it became clear that all available funds had been used up, we still held onto the hope that we might qualify for subsidies using the money freed up from rejected applications. NFOŚiGW itself encouraged this, even though it knew that some applicants would have to write, “We have the documents, everything is fine, but there won’t be any money because it’s all gone.”

According to information we received from our readers, in some cases PZU refused to sign over the insurance policy due to certain wording included in it. These were phrases found on the standard NFOŚiGW form and related to “renewed policies” or “unconditional terms.” Since the fund only waited for the document for 30 days, a refusal meant considerable hassle, including financial difficulties: it was necessary to terminate the existing contract and quickly arrange another with an insurer that didn’t pose such obstacles.
The average waiting time for the transfer after submitting an application was about 6–9 months.
