Kia has begun accepting orders for the Kia EV4 model of the 2027 model year (MY2027). Two entirely new variants are now available: the Kia EV4 AWD with a large battery and 195 kW/265 hp, and the Kia EV4 GT with the same package but 215 kW/292 hp. The cheapest trims cost 229,400 and 264,400 zloty respectively. The standard Kia EV4 FWD starts at 173,900 or 193,900 zloty, depending on battery capacity.

The biggest new feature in the 2027 model year is all-wheel drive, including a GT version, which is not commonly seen in C-segment hatchbacks. It also appears that the Kia EV4 GT will be available only in hatchback form, not as a fastback with an excessively long rear end. The cars promise ranges of up to 560 or 505 WLTP units per charge. These figures seem copied from the Kia EV6 specs, but since the Kia EV4 is lower and smaller, its performance parameters might ultimately be slightly better.

The “Basic” version of the Kii EV4 AWD Business Line trim comes standard with features such as matrix adaptive headlights, electrically adjustable steering wheel, heated front seats and rear seat (outer seats), heat pump, digital key, automatic two-zone climate control, heated steering wheel, V2L functionality (supplying AC power to external devices up to 3.6 kW), inductive phone charger, 19-inch wheels, and a head-up display (HUD).

We must pay extra (Business Line -> GT-Line) for things like fully leather upholstery, 360-degree cameras, side parking sensors, HDA2 autopilot, electrically adjustable memory seats, a remote parking mechanism, or the Harman Kardon audio system. Even in the most luxurious GT version, we won’t get a sunroof or a 22 kW AC-DC onboard charger as standard. The cost is 6,000 or 3,500 zlotys depending on the base equipment.

One of the distinctive features of the Kia EV4 are its yellow-green brake calipers and interior accents (including the multimedia system theme) in the same color.
