The IONIQ 3 is the king of range, and you can see it at SAHE 2026.

Having just arrived in Portugal, the Hyundai IONIQ 3 chose the SAHE 2026 to make its public debut.

Hyundai has just unveiled two completely new generations of two of its best-selling models: the Bayon and the Tucson. Meanwhile, it continues to expand its range of 100% electric vehicles.

The next model to enter the domestic market is the IONIQ 3, an electric crossover in the B-SUV segment.

With prices starting at 33,500 euros, this new model made its first national public appearance at the Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Show (SAHE) in Porto, and today is the last day you can see it.

Beneath the body, Hyundai’s new electric vehicle is built on the well-known E-GMP platform from the Hyundai Group, which features a 400 V electrical architecture here. However, this is not the biggest innovation of the IONIQ 3.

The focus lies rather on battery capacity and, consequently, the range claimed by this South Korean model. Depending on the version, the IONIQ 3 can be equipped with two batteries.

The Standard Range model features a smaller battery of 42.2 kWh and claims up to 335 km of range between charges. For those who find this distance insufficient, the IONIQ 3 Long Range version uses a 61 kWh battery, boosting range to 490 km.

In terms of power output, the IONIQ 3 Standard Range delivers 107.8 kW (147 hp), while the Long Range version has 99.5 kW (135 hp). In both cases, the torque remains constant at 250 Nm.
