Hyundai Staria Electric: 430 km range starting at 57,450 euros
Hyundai has opened pre-orders for the Staria Elektro starting at 57,450 euros. The van offers up to nine seats, a range of 430 kilometers, and can charge from 10% to 80% in 20 minutes under optimal conditions.

Electric van with seven or nine seating positions
Hyundai is accepting pre-orders for the Staria Elektro in Germany. This all-electric van is available as a seven-seater or nine-seater and comes in three trims: Trend, Prime, and Calligraphy. The starting price is 57,450 euros. This model targets larger families, shuttle services, and users who regularly transport a lot of luggage.
The interior can be adjusted to various needs thanks to the movable seats in the second and third rows. In the nine-seater version, Hyundai claims a trunk volume of up to 1,303 liters. Additionally, there is a 24-liter storage space under the hood where items such as charging cables or small bags can be stored.
The electric Staria is also designed for towing. According to the manufacturer, the permissible trailer load is up to 2,000 kilograms. This allows for not only regular transport trailers but also campers, boat trailers, or horse trailers. The maximum payload is 750 kilograms. For roof boxes and other attachments, Hyundai specifies a roof load of 100 kilograms, with the support load also being 100 kilograms.
160 kW and up to 430 kilometers of range
A electric motor mounted on the front axle provides propulsion. It delivers 160 kW (218 horsepower) and is powered by a battery with an 84 kWh capacity. Hyundai states that the top speed is 184 km/h. The combined energy consumption according to WLTP is 21.8 kWh per 100 kilometers.
Hyundai claims the Staria Electric can achieve a range of up to 430 kilometers. Thanks to 800-volt technology, the 84-kWh battery should be able to charge from 10% to 80% in 20 minutes under optimal conditions. Hyundai does not specify a maximum charging power. Based on the battery capacity and charging time, the average power for this charging window is approximately 176 kW—assuming the full 84 kWh capacity is available.

Three trim levels and several packages
The base model, Staria Elektro Trend, costs 57,450 euros and has nine seats. Standard features include full-LED headlights, a digital cockpit with a 12.3-inch display, and a touchscreen of the same size. Hyundai Bluelink as well as wireless smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also included.
The driver and passenger both receive heated seats. Additional standard features include parking aids at the front and rear, a rearview camera, as well as blind spot detection and cross-traffic alert systems. A heat pump and a battery heating system are already part of the standard equipment in the most affordable version.
For 2,100 euros each, Hyundai offers two additional packages. The Assistance Package includes a navigation system, Highway Assistant 1.5, a surround-view camera, a Vehicle-to-Load adapter, and a 230-volt outlet inside the vehicle. With the Vehicle-to-Load feature, external electrical devices can be powered by the car’s battery.
The similarly priced 2,100 euro Premium Package adds features such as electric sliding doors on both sides, an electric rear hatch, sliding windows in the second row of seats, and sunshades for the two rear rows. Acoustic laminated glass, heat- and privacy-glazed windows, as well as a wireless smartphone charger are also included in this package.
Prime and Calligraphy with Enhanced Comfort
The Staria Elektro Prime already comes standard with both the Assist and Premium packages. This still nine-seater version costs at least 63,650 euros. It also features leather seats and ventilation for the driver’s and passenger’s seats. The Panorama Package can be added for 1,300 euros. It combines a glass sliding roof over the first row of seats with a panoramic glass roof over the second row.
The top-tier Calligraphy version is available starting at 66,950 euros and has seven seats. Its features include decorative elements in chrome and aluminum finishes, a lit storage compartment between the front seats, a Bose sound system, a roof canopy in faux leather appearance, and seat covers made of nappa leather.
In the second row, there are two individually designed comfort seats. They are heated and ventilated and come with a relax function. Additionally, there is a digital key for the vehicle, as well as features that allow the driver to see the passengers in the back of the car and communicate with them more easily. The Calligraphy version also offers the 1,300 euro Panorama Package.
Hyundai offers the Staria Electric in six exterior colors. New additions are the mineral-effect paint finishes Classy Blue and Galaxy Maroon, with Galaxy Maroon being available only for the Calligraphy version.
