Here are the prices for the two top A2 variants
The A2 recently made a comeback as an electric car, and with it came a quite small and somewhat inexpensive e-tron version. Now we also know the prices of the more expensive A2 models, and that Audi is offering a “mother’s guarantee.”

About a week ago, we wrote a fairly comprehensive review of the 2026 Audi A2.
At that time, it was announced that Audi would launch three versions in Norway. All have a single engine and rear-wheel drive.
The Performance version offers the longest range of up to 645 kilometers, while the Performance Plus model is the fastest with 326 horsepower.
For some reason, Audi was only able to announce the price of the cheapest base model last week, and that is shown below. If you want to know more about the car, also in comparison with the original version, you can find that here:
115,000 up to the top tier
The entry-level model with 360 liters of capacity has a range of 515 km, and the standard equipment includes LED lights at the front and back, heated steering wheel, navigation system, and a so-called ambient lighting package.
But now the prices for the two more “top” versions, performance and performance plus, are also available.
The model options are therefore:
Audi A2 e-tron 190 hp, starting at 359,900 kroner: Range of up to 515 kilometers, estimated fuel consumption of 12.8 kWt per 100 kilometers, and fast charging up to 105 kW. This version uses an LFP battery with a relatively flat charging curve for most of the time.
Audi A2 e-tron performance with 231 hp, starting at 419,900 kroner: Up to 645 kilometers of range, a stated fuel consumption of 13.9 kWt per 100 kilometers, and fast charging at up to 183 kW.
Audi A2 e-tron performance plus with 326 hp, starting at 474,900 kroner: Up to 630 kilometers of range, a stated fuel consumption of 14.2 kWt per 100 kilometers, and fast charging at up to 183 kW. The top model comes standard with features such as damping adjustment and progressive steering.
Thus, there is a difference of 115,000 kroner between the cheapest and most expensive A2 variants, in addition to significant differences in power, range, and charging speed.
It is also worth noting the low fuel consumption figures of the three A2 variants mentioned above.
The similarity between the old fossil fuel version and the new electric A2 lies primarily in the desire to use less energy—and make the most of space.

All model variants are rear-wheel driven with a permissible payload of up to 1600 kilograms.
The standard equipment includes features such as the curved MMI panoramic display, navigation system, adaptive cruise control, rear camera, parking sensors, and a two-zone climate control system.
The A2 e-tron performance and performance plus also come standard with 19-inch aluminum wheels and a 13-liter fuel tank.
And if you want to spend even more, that’s certainly possible:
All three versions can be ordered as so-called edition models, which include features such as the S line exterior package, Tech package, and Matrix LED lighting package.
The prices for the edition models start at 384,900 kroner for the A2 e-tron edition, 444,900 kroner for the performance edition, and 499,900 kroner for the performance plus edition.
Includes a kind of tax guarantee
It’s possible you might also want to save some money, not just keep spending more and more. That’s where Audi comes in with a customized version of the old “tax guarantee” offer.
If you order an A2 within the next 3-4 months but, for one reason or another, don’t receive it and have it registered until after the New Year, there’s a high chance the tax on the car will be higher than if you received it this year.
In other words, if the anticipated increase in taxes on electric vehicles goes through, which it’s likely to.
Audi states that if you sign a purchase contract as late as New Year’s Eve this year – and even have it registered by the end of June next year – the VAT guarantee applies.
Audi formulates the guarantee as follows:
«The VAT guarantee applies if the contract is signed between September 10 and December 31, 2026, with the first possible registration between January 1 and June 30, 2027. It takes effect if the planned increase in vehicle VAT starting January 1, 2027, is implemented, and it is provided as a price adjustment including VAT to compensate for any increase in VAT. The guarantee is limited to 37,500 kroner including VAT and applies only to private customers and the original contract party.»
It adds that in even smaller print, namely “complete warranty text along with other terms and conditions,” you can find this on Audi’s website.
