Geely Farizon is expanding its network of partners in Europe.

Geely’s commercial vehicle brand continues to expand its operations in Europe. At the IAA Transportation in Hannover, the manufacturer unveiled partnerships with AMF-Bruns, Allianz Partners, BNP Paribas, CATL, Bosch, and ZF. Additionally, Farizon plans to establish its own companies in Germany and France and is announcing further variants of the electric transporter SV.

Through its partner network, Geely aims to cover various areas related to commercial vehicle operations. These include technical service and spare parts supply, as well as financing, insurance, and technology and infrastructure solutions. The manufacturer’s goal is to complement sales of electric commercial vehicles with local offerings for operation and service. However, Farizon does not provide any detailed information regarding the scope and specific services of individual agreements.

Not all of the partnerships are entirely new. Even during its launch in Germany in May, Farizon mentioned CATL’s battery technology as well as collaborations with Bosch and ZF. What’s new now is primarily the consolidation and expansion into a broader European partnership network that, along with AMF-Bruns, Allianz Partners, and BNP Paribas, aims to cover vehicle modifications as well as insurance and financing options.

Farizon has been officially present in Germany since May 2026 with its two electric vans, the SV and V7E. The SV starts at 44,900 euros net in Germany and is equipped with LFP batteries from CATL ranging in size from 67 to 83 kWh. Depending on the battery and body variant, it can achieve up to 376 kilometers of range according to WLTP standards. The more compact V7E costs starting at 32,600 euros net and comes with batteries of 50 or 67 kWh, offering a range of up to 328 kilometers.

Even at launch, the Geely subsidiary announced a German spare parts warehouse and plans to establish a nationwide service network. Farizon now states that the warehouse is operational and claims to have set up an European engineering team by 2026. Next steps include establishing a European headquarters and separate companies in Germany and France. The company is also exploring further localization, though no specific projects have been disclosed yet. In addition to Germany, Farizon is already active in countries such as the UK, Serbia, Spain, and the Benelux states.

Geely’s Farizon SV to receive all-wheel drive and new batteries

Alongside its distribution and service networks, Farizon is expanding its vehicle lineup. For the SV, the company is announcing new batteries, upgraded electric motors, and for the first time, a version with all-wheel drive. Farizon has not yet provided technical specifications or a release date. The 4×4 drive system is intended to make the electric transporter more suitable for areas with heavy snow, unpaved roads, and mountainous terrain, among other uses.

In collaboration with European vehicle manufacturers, additional applications based on the SV are also planned. Farizon mentions variants for passenger transport, refrigerated vehicles, and wheelchair-accessible conversions. With AMF-Bruns, a company specializing in such vehicle modifications, Farizon now has another partner in its network.

Farizon is already utilizing the platform’s flexibility for other applications. The Chinese company WeRide’s Robotaxi GXR is also based on the SV platform. WeRide has ordered 2,000 units of this upgraded version, with production set to begin in the third quarter of 2026.

Farizon continues to target the V7E primarily for urban delivery services and last-mile deliveries. At IAA Transportation, the company also showcased the Homtruck for heavy long-distance transportation. For this electric truck, Farizon focuses not only on the propulsion system but also on designing the cab as a workspace, resting area, and retreat for drivers.

Farizon is part of the Geely Group and aims to leverage its development, manufacturing, and supply chain capabilities under the “One Geely” strategy. For the European market, the focus now is on establishing not only vehicles but also the essential services, financing, spare parts supply, and local operations frameworks that are important for fleet customers.
