Geely Auto has already surpassed its originally planned expansion target for its dealer network in Germany before the end of the year. Since the market launch in mid-March, more than 75 dealer agreements have been signed, with 60 partners already operating. The Chinese automaker states that a total of 50 locations were originally scheduled to be in operation by the end of 2026. Philipp Hempel, Executive Director of Geely Auto Germany, describes this early achievement of the expansion goal as an important milestone.
For vehicle sales, Geely Auto Deutschland remains committed to its annual plan. Since sales began in May, 2,238 vehicles have been sold by the end of September, with 1,014 of those sold in September alone. Over 5,000 vehicles are expected to be sold by the end of the year. The Monjaro EM-i, scheduled for launch in mid-November, is set to expand the model lineup in Germany.
Geely Automobile Holdings Limited achieved record sales in the first nine months of 2026, with 2,235,481 vehicles sold, representing a 3 percent increase from the previous year. Sales of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs, mainly electric cars and plug-in hybrids) rose by 14 percent to 1,326,364 units, accounting for 59.3 percent of total sales. Geely Auto itself sold 1,750,960 vehicles, while deliveries outside China increased by 169 percent to 797,670 units. NEV exports totaled 484,086 units, making up 61 percent of overseas sales.
Among the group’s other brands, Lynk & Co sold 196,117 vehicles from January to September. The premium electric brand Zeekr saw its sales rise by 101 percent to 288,404 vehicles.
Zhejiang Geely Holding Group set a new record for the first nine months of 2026, with 3,002,640 vehicles sold globally. Of these, 1,792,617 were new energy vehicles, whose sales increased by 12.6% compared to the same period last year, accounting for 59.7% of total sales.
