Fiido takes its electric bikes to the next level: up to 320 km of range and manufactured in France

Fiido has enhanced three of its most interesting models, the Nomads Pro, T3, and T3 Max, with vastly different approaches yet sharing one common goal: providing a practical alternative for those seeking more than just a conventional electric bike. In this new phase, there’s another particularly significant detail, as certain versions intended for the European market are assembled in France—a move that underscores Fiido’s focus on local manufacturing and meeting the standards required for this market.
Fiido Nomads Pro

The Fiido Nomads Pro is likely the model that best embodies this philosophy when it comes to long-distance travel and off-road use. It is an electric trekking bike equipped with a 250 W central motor and a torque of 100 Nm, a particularly high figure for a bike of this type. The motor works alongside a torque sensor designed to provide more natural assistance, while the nine-speed Shimano CUES transmission allows adjusting the effort to different conditions, especially when encountering slopes.
Its design philosophy is also evident in the wheel setup. The Nomads Pro features 29-inch wheels and a pneumatic suspension fork with 120 mm of travel, a combination designed to handle uneven roads and surfaces more comfortably. This is complemented by four-piston hydraulic brakes, a configuration that provides extra reliability when navigating difficult terrain or carrying luggage. The frame is available in M and L sizes to suit different heights, while the bike weighs 26.2 kg.

The Nomads Pro’s battery has a capacity of 417.6 Wh and is removable. It allows for a range of around 75 km out of the box, but the system is designed to accommodate additional batteries, extending the range to approximately 225 km. This is precisely one of the features that makes this model an attractive option for those who want to use it for both daily commuting and long-distance trips. The system supports an expanded configuration of up to three batteries, though the actual range will naturally depend on the weight carried, terrain, temperature, and the level of assistance used.
T3 and T3 Max: two cargo bikes

The goal for the Fiido T3 is quite different. It is a family cargo electric bike with a low seat height, designed to make daily use as well as transporting children, groceries, and other items easier. Its central motor also generates 100 Nm of torque, while the battery has a capacity of 972 Wh. The brand currently claims a maximum range of up to 187 km under certain usage conditions, though this figure can vary significantly in real-world driving.
The T3 also features a relatively compact design among cargo bikes. It has a total length of 1,755 meters and an axle spacing of 1,175 meters, with 20 x 2.4 inch CST wheels. Its load capacity reaches up to 150 kg, and the low entry frame makes it easy to get on and off the bike, which is particularly useful when used as a family transportation option. It can also be equipped with a child seat, trailer, and various accessories to tailor the loading area to different needs.
Fiido T3 Max

The Fiido T3 Max builds on the same concept of a family cargo bike but significantly expands its capabilities. The rear basket is longer, the load capacity increases to 200 kg, and the system can feature a dual-battery setup with 1,620 Wh total capacity. In this configuration, the manufacturer claims a range of up to 320 km, a figure that places the T3 Max in virtually uncharted territory among conventional electric cargo bikes.
And here lies the feature that truly sets the T3 Max apart. Its additional 972 Wh battery can be removed and used as a portable power source. With the appropriate inverter, the system can deliver up to 800 W to power devices such as phones, cameras, drones, camp lights, portable refrigerators, or small household appliances. The inverter is sold separately, so it’s important not to mistake the system’s technical capabilities for all components being included standard.

This option opens up a much wider range of uses than usual. The T3 Max can be used to take children to school during the week, carry groceries, or for urban commuting, but it can also serve as a tool for camping and outdoor activities. For professionals and delivery workers, its high load capacity and the option to have additional power may be equally attractive.
In addition, there is compatibility between the batteries of both models. The 972 Wh battery used by the T3 can function as an extension battery in the T3 Max’s dual-battery system. In this way, Fiido not only differentiates the two models by size and load capacity but also creates some compatibility within its own range.
Both the T3 and T3 Max intended for the European market emphasize “Made in Europe,” as Fiido states that the European versions of these models are manufactured in France. The same approach is applied to the Nomads Pro in the European lineup. This is a detail the brand is using to strengthen its position in Europe, where manufacturing and compliance with local regulations carry increasing importance when choosing an electric bike.
Regarding prices, the Fiido Nomads Pro is currently listed on the brand’s European website at 1,999 euros, while the T3 starts at 1,899 euros, and the T3 Max begins at 2,299 euros. (Below are some discount coupons.)
In summary, Fiido is trying to meet three very different needs with these models. The Nomads Pro aims to become an electric trekking bike capable of handling long routes and challenging terrains; the T3 focuses on family mobility and daily commuting; and the T3 Max offers higher cargo capacity and, most importantly, the ability to use part of its battery as a portable power source. This range, assembled in France for the European market, also seeks to gain a foothold in an increasingly demanding market.
