Leapmotor’s electric SUV is on display at the SAHE 2026 in Porto, and it is already available for ordering in Portugal.

The Leapmotor B03X is one of the models showcased at the Hybrid and Electric Automobile Show (SAHE), which takes place at Alfândega do Porto until October 18.

This electric SUV from the Chinese brand is already available for order, with prices starting at 23,000 euros, and it targets one of the most competitive segments in the European market: the B-SUV category.

Measuring 4.27 meters in length, 1.81 meters in width, and 1.64 meters in height, the B03X aims to combine compact dimensions with family-friendly usability. Within Leapmotor’s lineup, it sits between the city car T03 and the B05, B10, and C10 models.

Among its main rivals are models such as the Ford Puma and Peugeot 2008, although the B03X stands out by focusing exclusively on electric powertrains, and we have already tested it:

Up to 382 km of range

The Leapmotor B03X is available with two battery options. The Pro version, with a 39.8 kWh capacity, claims a range of up to 292 km (WLTP). At the top of the range, the B03X ProMax uses a 53 kWh battery, which increases the range to 382 km.

When the battery is depleted, the B03X can be charged using both AC and DC power, with charging speeds ranging from 11 kW to 100 kW or 133 kW depending on the battery capacity. Both versions take 16 minutes to charge from 30% to 80% capacity.

Depending on the version, the electric motor can deliver different power levels: 133 kW (177 hp) or 145 kW (197 hp) in the Pro and ProMax versions, respectively. In either case, the top speed is 160 km/h, with a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 8.6 seconds.

Inside, the B03X features an 8.8″ instrument cluster paired with a 14.6″ central display. The standard equipment list also includes over-the-air software updates (OTA), a brand-specific app, and 21 driving assistance systems supported by 14 sensors and cameras.

How much does it cost?

Available in two trims — Life and Design — the Leapmotor B03X starts at 23,000 euros, a price that does not include registration and shipping costs. The brand also offers 4 years of warranty (or 100,000 kilometers) and 8 years of battery warranty (160,000 kilometers).
