This is the 'top 3' of the most exclusive electric bicycles made in Spain: they are handcrafted and each costs over 12,000 euros

The exclusive is more in fashion than ever, and not just in cycling. But staying within our passion, we see that items that stand out for their uniqueness, whether in materials or design, sell well. For example, accessories (clothing, peripherals) are crossing borders, and iconic fashion brands are launching their own cycling apparel lines...
But let’s focus on electric bikes: there’s a real surge in demand for handmade-style bicycles, and recently we’ve featured various brands on these pages (such as the German Alutech or the Finnish Pole) that, by leveraging different engine developments, have created true masterpieces that are highly welcomed by the cycling community.

It makes sense: if we have a decent budget and a passion for bikes, it’s more logical to invest in exclusive models, limited-production versions, or limited editions rather than generic bikes that sometimes have prices not much different...
We feature three bikes in this report, which we covered at their respective launches. Given the “revolution of exclusivity” we’re witnessing, it makes sense to bring them together: these are the Abums Model One (11,900 euros), the Eiros Empor-E (19,500 euros), and the Unno Mith Factory (15,095 euros).
Abums Model One: When steel makes sense
We already mentioned this in the introduction to this special eBike from the Basque brand: it was the first electric bike with a steel frame that incorporated the battery directly into it. The designers advocate for this premium construction material because it has natural damping capabilities that filter out vibrations from the ground, maintaining a direct connection between the rider and the surface. Additionally, its durability is unquestionable, and its repairability is extremely high.

Another aspect that makes the Model One frame such a highly exclusive component is its special high-pivot suspension system, which minimizes negative effects like pedal kickback and enhances traction in any condition, whether uphill or downhill. It features a mullet wheel set that provides stability when going downhill (29'' front tire) and agility on technical terrain (27.5'' rear tire). The suspensions have a very long travel of 180 mm per axis, making it a true enduro bike.

The frame is available in two different finishes: the first is painted, while the second, called RAW (with a Cerakote coating), reveals the steel’s original color, featuring stunning welds created using the ‘Fillet Bracing’ technique, which we consider the most beautiful option.

The engine installed is the Mahle M40, one of the lightest engines available (2.5 kg). Although its specifications aren’t among the highest in terms of power, they are impressive enough to catch everyone’s attention: 850 W of maximum power and a torque of 105 Nm. What stands out is its traction control system and Auto Hold feature (which keeps the bike stable on steep slopes by preventing it from rolling backward). The battery (which cannot be removed) is a Mahle iM8 with a capacity of 800 Wh.

The price of the complete bike (the frame-motor set is also available separately) is 11,900 euros. It features a carefully selected range of components that are not overly ‘elite’, allowing for a very competitive price despite the artisanal nature of this Model One. Eiros Empo-E: when a carbon fiber specialist builds a bike
The Catalans at Eiros went all in: with a proven catalog of components behind them, they decided to unleash their imagination and created this stunning electric bike where carbon fiber is the undisputed star.
The Empor-E is an eMtb that will only have 100 units produced, adding even more exclusivity. Its frame is a true masterpiece, with fully exposed carbon fiber (Obsidian finish) and a meticulously crafted design that results in a weight of just 1.2 kg (without suspension). The complete bike weighs 18.5 kg, which is outstanding for a full-power enduro model.
Its design as an enduro bike is evident in its features: long suspension travel (170 mm on both axles), “mullet” wheels (29'' front and 27.5'' rear), and a distinctly aggressive geometry. The rear suspension system isn’t one of the most complex available these days (it’s not floating like that of the Unno Mith, nor does it have a high pivot axis like the Abums Model One), but it includes a twist point in the shock tower that enhances its performance.
The equipment stands out for its various carbon components that enhance (and lighten) the Empor-E, such as the DT Swiss HXC1200 wheel set, the beautiful Eiros Minotaur handlebars, the carbon engine cover, or the saddle with a base made from this premium fiber as well. The rest of the components also reach an extremely high standard, like the Öhlins suspension or the SRAM XX AXS drivetrain. The brakes chosen are impressive as well—stylish Brembo GR-Pro brakes.
Once again, we find the Mahle M40 engine in this handcrafted bike: we won’t repeat its specifications, which we’ve already covered when discussing the Abums, but it’s clear that this German-made unit is pleasing to the most exclusive manufacturers... The battery, on the other hand, is also an 800 Wh iM8 battery.
As we mentioned, 100 units will be available for purchase at one of the highest prices on the market: nothing less than 19,500 euros. Given the quality and limited production run, this price seems somewhat justified. For more information: Eiros Empor-E
Unno Mith Factory: when craftsmanship moves to the next level
Unno is a Catalan brand that exudes exclusivity in every aspect. With this Mith model, the frame construction is outstanding, featuring a dreamy rear suspension system and a swingarm that appears to be taken from the best MotoGP bikes in the world. All this comes at a time when the brand has crossed the boundary between craftsmanship and industrial production, with an enviable demand that makes one wonder if it should still focus on products like this. Obviously, we think it should.
As we mentioned, the Mith features exposed carbon fiber, highlighting its artisanal nature. What stands out about this finish from the brand is its purity and visual lightness, without any artificial elements. In terms of performance, this Unno Mith Factory falls into the enduro category, boasting sufficient suspension travel (170 mm front and 160 mm rear) along with mullet wheels to deliver stable yet agile handling. Its steering angle is also very steep at 63.5º, on par with top-tier downhill bikes.
The equipment is superb: however, we’re talking about a bike that costs over 15,000 euros. At the front lies one of the most exclusive forks available, the inverted Fox Podium in Factory finish. At the rear, a shock absorber from the same brand (Float X2 Factory) completes the suspension setup. But there’s more: the drivetrain is SRAM’s most exclusive option (XX AXS), and the stem is also electronic, this time the Reverb AXS from RockShox.
As for the brakes, they’re SRAM’s most exclusive models, the Ultimate Maven brakes. And now, the carbon fiber components: the wheels are DT Swiss HXC1500, and the handlebar is a nice 800 mm One Up V2 model.
The engine installed is the popular and powerful Avinox M2S, which, with its integrated 800 Wh battery, offers a maximum power of 1,300 W. The motor torque is 130 Nm, but thanks to the boost mode (up to 60 seconds), it can reach up to 150 Nm. The Avinox DP100 display completes the Avinox ecosystem of the Unno Mith Factory. As mentioned earlier, the price of this Mith Factory model (15,095 euros) classifies it as an exclusive frame — perhaps the least artisanally crafted in this lineup, but also one backed by greater expertise.
